Just got this rig used for under $180 , the seat squeaking sound can be remove by applying some oil on the hinge , but for me the most annoying thing is that the two thin plates under the seat will vibrate along my bass shaker and makes some high frequence noise , and the seat is really not for the Big person , might upgrade to the ERS3 soon (which will cost more than the entire current setup LMFAO)

It is more expensive but in all honesty, if budget is not your main focus, you absolutely made the correct choice. Have fun with it.

Cut those tight wings off the top and stitch it back together.😂 I have broad shoulders myself and that’s my concern with this chair. For $400 you can’t have everything perfect but it’s a great deal for the budget conscience consumer. It’s worth $400 considering all you get and comparing it to other models on its level. It’s an entry level cockpit. This is what you get for that level.

My dyi skills are verly limited 😅 but I agree. Its a budget seat. Can't have it all and it must be said, one of the most sturdy ones out there in that category.

Did you manage to do it? I want to try do the same but dont want to mess up the main back support structure. is it mettel frame in the middle like other gaming chair?
