I'm curious as to why there are no video reviews newer than a year old? I have one arriving today for flight simming and there are no recent videos. I may have to make one....
Most of the people who review equipment get them sent for free by the vendor to drum up business on release. Very few people who release reviews actually buy the equipment, so that's why you don't really see recent videos I'd guess. FWIW I buy my stuff.
To be honest I think the Hf8 is so good for the price. Agree it does need to be run via sim hub to get the best out of it. It does also need a lot of time to set up to get the best out of it. I’m using mine on gt7 and now I don’t think that I could play the game without it. Ok you do need to have it running on pc to get it to work on ps5 but once you have it worked out it’s amazing.
@@nelsonsimracing yes you can use it via the speaker jack but it’s not very good putting it politely. But when you link up sim hub with your console you get the full experience and not just a massage chair lol. Also I think that less is more meaning don’t have to many effects turned on at once.
I definitely need to put more effort into tuning the set up so that I have different profiles for if I'm racing with or without the butt kickers turned on.
@@djromanvf817 I tried to look this up and couldn't find any info to help you. NLR has this video for directly connecting if that helps at all... ua-cam.com/video/4kO3TfY1Qnk/v-deo.html
how is the comfort for you? I picked this up a few days ago and I'm using a pc gaming chair with it. It's a little uncomfortable for me after 45 minutes or so. It feels like I'm sitting on two fat wallets in my back pocket. I'm thinking of returning it because of that.
I've used mine pretty extensively now and I'm well used to it. I'm happy with the comfort but I do feel it could be considered lumpy by some. Stick it out for a couple more days and see if you get used to it.
Thanks for the review, I am always more interested in reviews that come a while after release because you have had real time to spend with it then. Did you find any delay in the effects?
It works. Just connect it to the audio jack and the sound makes it rumble. I didn’t think much of it, it's not like DBox in a movie theater or anything.
I think it's awesome. Just got one. It vibrates and you can program it . What more should it do??
Nothing. I stopped using my buttkickrs after I got this!

Interesting point, I haven't had an opportunity to try it on a console, but it's good to know that's there is real value there too.

How loud is it does it rattle or is it pretty quite thanks
Real quiet. Think of a cell phone on silent vibrating in your pocket. That's about it.
Hi, is it a reason why it don't work with the MSFS2020 ?
To the best of my knowledge, it should be compatible at the very least with the PC version, but I haven't tried it personally.
i like your qui gon jinn thing on the wall
Are you sassing? 🙃

Hi.Can you share your hf8 file which you use
I use simhub to control the HF8, is that what you are looking at getting settings from?

Thanks for watching. If there's a delay, it's imperceptible. It's definitely on a par with the butt kickers.
@@nelsonsimracing Thats great to hear, thanks again and have a good day.
