Hey Rob, one series suggestion may like is: Below Street Level characters Or Character Roasts Basically you could talk about characters who absolutely suck in comics that no one cares for or characters who are overwhelming useless! lol I think it'd be fun for you to get into roasting different characters, and their development overtine to shift things up!
How about the most savage moments in comics where you talk about things that characters have done that was just insane like how spider man beat up king pin in a prison
Okay so, I don't have an idea for a new series, but you should really check out Manga 'a.k.a Japanese comics'. I alongside all your other fans that read both eastern and western comics could give you a flood of suggestions for series to read. Do a poll on twitter, or in your community tab, or make a video on Geek Culture Explained. I personally don't have a preference for one over the other, I didn't grow up reading Marvel or DC or even Manga and really only started getting into the medium of comics (both east and west) because of both your channel back when it was just Marvel Explained and a love of intersting stories. I know the reading right to left is a little jarring, but I believe it's well worth it for the quaility of storytelling on display. All I can ask is that you try something new with an open mind in the hopes that you'll come across a new favorite that you otherwise would've never experieced? I'll leave my suggestions here, I sincerly hope that you give them a chance; HunterXHunter, Bleach, Chainsaw Man, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Akira, Vinland Saga, Inuyashiki, Dr. Stone, Yu Yu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin, 20th Century Boys, To Your Eternity, Attack On Titan, Sakamoto Days, and last but definitely not least. Berserk by the late great Kentaro Miura. Thank you Rob, for all the knowledge and entertainment over the years. And thank you for taking the time to read this.
I would love to see more explanations about the artefacts and diverse weapons from DC/Marvel/etc, like, how do they work, who used them over time, how powerful they can get and all that fun stuff lol
Great Idea. I'm thinking of all the legendary items on that old Marvel Heros Diablo 2 game in the early 2010s that got thrown in the dumpter. If they had Rob writing that game I'm sure we would have seen some really crazy items.
One series I would like to see is instead of beyond omega level characters you could talk about in detail the most interesting places in comics such as Wakanda, Taa 2, Kun-Lun, the far shore, the Beyondverse, Atlantis, and so on, as well as the history associated with that place. That would be really cool.
Not as power-based, but one series i’d like to see is the history of certain comic relationships lol. Stuff like the history of gwen stacy and peter parker, or rogue and gambit. Feel like it would be a nice way to explore two characters at once
1. Power types: video dedicated to a specific type of power and go through some of the best and worst uses of it. Maybe a controversial hierarchy? 2. Most obscure characters. 3. Any instances of characters that have powers that are unique to them/not replicated. 4. Archetype groups and a breakdown of the archetype's key characteristics with examples.
Id like to hear you talk about some lesser known/ lower tier characters. I'm not Trolling, there's a lot of interesting concepts out there that they haven't done much with. Slapstick, Speedball, Random are so excited of my favorites. Yeah big mutant fan, we have that in common.
Okay, but like how powerful is Zom? *Marvel:* "Very." Okay, but like in what way? *Marvel:* "It took two over omega level beings to take him on." How? *Marvel:* "He's very powerful." What does that even mean?! What can Zom do? *Marvel:* "A fraction of his power can overpower powerful beings." But how?! Can Zom punch really, really good? Explain yourself!
@You're under 19 don't argue no he’s stronger then all them, stronger then Dormammu, and eternity unless working together. Only the living tribunal can defeat him in a 1on 1
I'd love to see a "Slept On"/"Honorable Mention" series comprised of characters that aren't necessarily omega level, but characters that people sleep on how much damage they could actually do. For example, like Captain Carrot...people sleep on how powerful he actually is! Or Shang Chi's little sister
Series idea: Street Level Supers. A series about the closer to the ground, lesser known super powered characters in comics. Think Kite Man, Speed Demon and the like.
Idea: underutilized characters, hear me out. Comics are filled with some amazing takes on breaking stereotypes, fascinating philosophy, displays of great inspiring values that just kinda show up in a story to be sidelined and never used again. I want you to find some of your favorite characters you think haven't even come close to having a spotlight that you would love to see be used to their full potential. Think like molecule man starting out as weak villian of the week progressing to an absolute powerhouse, take a character like he was at the start and hypothesize a path for them to be a real player in comic stories.
1: Not the history of the characters but the EVOLUTION of them, showing how comics and their characters mirror the times in which they're published. An early example of this would be Green Hornet's butler/driver Kato being Japanese, then suddenly Korean and then Filipino 2: Speaking of Kato, how about a series on sidekicks?
Would like to see something dealing with legacies. Characters that have had multiple people take up the mantle. Even ones that circled back to the original after temporary replacements. Maybe even multiversal versions of an original character.
A series about relationships between two characters would be interesting. For example, a video could be about how Silver Surfer and Galactus met, worked together, and antagonized one another over time.
I’d like to see Zom Strange in the MCU. Maybe you could do a series where you could do reading orders for characters/teams. I would love to have an actual Issue/TPB order to have a giant cohesive story. Like there’s Amazing Spider-man, but also Friendly Neighborhood, and Peter Parker. Do they weave together? are they all in continuity? Also can you do Paradise X and the rest of the Earth X series? Love ye videos! Watch em everyday
Also those forlock hides his presence from powerful entities. After Strange removed it, his magic energy was felt across the multiverse...so LT himself had to step in...
Three options for you Rob. 1. Important moments/fights/feats in comics you want to discuss. Say the time John Stewart stopped a planet from exploding so hard that his ring nearly blew up. 2. Histories of relationships between characters/teams or of lesser known areas. Spiderman and Gwen Stacy, Daredevil and Kingpin, or the Savage Lands, the House of Mystery. 3. Characters you want DC or Marvel to start pushing.
I figured Zom would come along sooner or later with his Superman baby emoji looking hairstyle lol. Beyond Omega Level: Animal Man Beyond Omega Level: Mordru
A series about characters, groups, organizations or events that should be more known. Some underrated or underused characters would be good to know about.
New Series Idea: Alternative Versions. Not a list of every version of Spiderman, but one video at a time for interesting variants of comic book characters throughout history and the omniverse. So like a deep dive on Captian Carrot, and then a deep dive on Dead Gwen, etc.
Series idea: Single Issue Spotlight. There are certain single issues that stand out in a series for various reasons whether it is the first appearance of a popular character, special event, or some other significant reason. This would be an in-depth look into that specific issue and what makes it special.
Funny story so many years ago I made an A to Z book of Marvel characters for my oldest boy and you would not believe how hard it is to figure out a character to finish out the book with that started with z it is so happened to be this character who I'd never heard of before until I did that book and now that I realized how awesome he is thank you so much for doing this video. Honestly thank you you're awesome
A series on the most powerful/unique 2-5 cell teams that would wreck people or succeed well at different scenarios. Custom teams imagined from the ranks of any series characters. Such as Hulk, Superman, sentry, Hyperion, and Shazam. Then give an equal opposition team.
I'd like to see a series that focuses on landmark events in comics history- From the impact of the Death of Superman, the changing of Batman with the Dark Knight (and last laugh!) to the landmark changes brought by a specific writer (Looking at you Hickman) and/or artist, real world events that impacted comics and had long lasting changes to the comics industry. I've watched and loved this channel for years and love when Rob goes on a "Man let me tell you something" rant. That could be the name of the series.
I’d love to see a series about forgotten heroes and villains. I grew up loving ROM Space Knight, for instance, but finding good vids on him and the space corps is next to impossible.
I wanna see him, but it would be great if cinematic universe would bring them on screen as portrait in the comics. Stop powering them down. Because man... there are some awesome movies to be made if they would do that.
With the stories we tend to get to know the authors more than the artists. I'd like a series that explores each artist and the characters they created with the authors.
If it took Dormammu and Eternity to imprison Zom, even a fraction of that power should have allowed Strange to destroy Hulk with a gesture. I remember buying the issue where Zom fights Dr. Strange, and was surprised he was suddenly remembered 30 odd years later. But the writer gets to ret-con what they want. But they don’t make Dark Gods like they used to.
How about a series of inconveniences certain superpowers would actually have in real life? Like how Wolverine can't go out in a thunderstorm because adamantium is conductive?
I'd like to see a series about the relatively banal, but still often times important, parts of comics universes. The corporations, various street level characters, and the like. Damage Control, Roxxon, etc. Or even more powerful but little seen items - weapons, gems, scrolls, cloaks, etc. I find that these things flesh out universes in ways that beyond omega level beings never can.
Bring back The Rundown! Thor vs Iron Man was a great video, and it's a great way to highlight specific moments that may not be worth dedicating a longer video to.
I feel like beyond omega level always just becomes a question of do they have matter manipulation? Then they are omega level. So a new series sounds like a good idea. But you have done so much rob haha I cant think of a topic you haven't covered already lol
Maybe you could start a series that covers the interpersonal history between two characters? For example: Iron Man/ James Rhodes, Daredevil/Elektra, or even villain to hero histories like Batman / Talia Al Ghoul?
New Series...Forgotten Characters. Interesting characters MCU or DC can bring back to the spotlight if done right and you can put your thoughts on how they can do that.
I'm just repeating what another fellow said coz that needs more attention....I'd love a series about the different artefacts and weapons of Marvel/DC/other universe like how do they work, who used them over time, how powerful they can get and all that fun stuff.
I’d love love love a series of the creation of characters, like the how and why those characters came to be and what the creator was trying to say by making such characters
maybe you could do a series covering rare/obscure but interesting comic characters that people dont know about. but if written well can be a very intresting/good character
Stab in the dark. Maybe a series where we explore the most “evil” acts committed by our Heroes and villains so as opposed to focusing on their raw power we can focus more on the actual destruction and chaos caused, the motivation behind it, and how long those effects hung around. It would allow us to look at some interesting moments without necessarily having to go through an entire narrative.
It took 3 (adult) Beyonders 2 take Living Tribunal down, so he most likely is the strength of 2 (adult) Beyonders, at weakest of 1 (adult) Beyonder. But Zom vs the Beyonders would've been kewl or Zom vs the Hulk in his heart of monster form or a fight between all 3.
Comics explained, can you please do an Omega level video on Brainiac, because he constantly gets upgrades and is constantly improving it is hard to know where he ranks at.
I'd love a series talking about in depth on how powerful a character has ever been. Like how during X event they got powered up, how it happened, what did they do, and how did it conclude.
Maybe Zom would be a great villain or threat to bring together people, like Dormammu and Dr. Strange and possibly some others working together to stop him.
I've been listening to you for years now, and whatever happened to the Rundown? I miss those, also "Rob's What If...." those were definitely interesting to ponder over! But "New" idea...MCU additions from the Comics and how they'll be NERFED, or how to NERF Broken Characters to include them into the MCU...just a thought.
I would love to see epic story telling moments. Such as the fake hero "King" in "one punch man", where he gives 3 assassins life crisis and have them give up their life in crime because King ignored them and ate his breakfast. xD that was hilarious and epic.
How about a series about overlooked characters? Like awesome characters explained and possibly their one offs or whatever. It'd be cool to learn about more new characters
For some reason I’ve always wanted to see a story where Zom is facing off against the Mangog. I have no idea how that fight would come to take place, but it sure would be good.
Glad you asked, I've had a few ideas for series actually: "Character fusions" you could take 2 characters and mash their powers together trying to come up with the most op character ever🤣 they don't have to be the same publication either, want to combine Hulk and Spawn? Go for it. "Written by Rob" is my favorite and the only name that doesn't suck, but also the most effort for yourself. Tell us what kind of story you'd like to see written for a specific character, we hear your opinions about what others have written, but I'd like to hear what you'd do if you could. I'm sure I'm not alone. "Tales from the comic book crypt" You could tell us about a character that is just a serious "wtf? That character is real?" I found out about Hemo-Goblin recently and still refuse to believe that was a real character 🤣 alternatively you could also talk about a very obscure character who is interesting or very powerful, Slapstick comes to mind. "Stan the man" just do a series about Stan Lee, I miss that dude and he has such a long interesting story. "Read this not that" you could take a particular character and for people wanting to get into those characters could tell them which comic runs to read and which to avoid. This isn't necessarily a "series" idea like you mean but you could either have a live watch party for the Disney+ MCU series so we can get hype with you or record your reactions so we can see them, we all love your trailer reactions and seeing you get hype like we do haha That's all I got right now, names subject to change🤣
Dont know if it has been suggested but you should do a series where you let a character cross over between Marvel and DC (for example). "What would it look like if Kingpin went to Gotham", "if the Joker fought Deadpool"," if Magneto went to Cybertron" and so on
Hey man, I think a really funny switch would be to throw the weakest power levels onto the Internet and cover some of your favourite weaklings and their greatest and weakest feats! Love the content 👌
I recommend having a comic threat response series where you pick for example an Omega level character, set a limit for a reasonable amount of allies who you would recruit from that universe/all of comics, who they would be, and why specifically them. It's a series you can set the rules to and test both your creativity and comic knowledge which I think would be cool.
SERIES IDEAS 1. Unknown Importance Characters that are forgotten but played big roles 2. logic of powers How character powers work and if it makes sense (work with Kyle Hill channels) 3.bring back What-If stories Where you make up stories (wolverine gets infected by the techno-organic virus)
Series idea: talk about the writers of comic books, their history, and what you think is their greatest comic book run and what made it great in your eyes.
Hey everyone, get Bloodline Heroes of Lithas here: app.adjust.com/2ztklr9_w002cml
You could do a what if series on obscure characters getting their day in the limelight. Call it “What if: They were written well?”
Hey Rob, one series suggestion may like is:
Below Street Level characters
Or
Character Roasts
Basically you could talk about characters who absolutely suck in comics that no one cares for or characters who are overwhelming useless! lol I think it'd be fun for you to get into roasting different characters, and their development overtine to shift things up!
Idea for a series: A Marvel's "What If" situation for each character. Starting of course with Venom and X23.

And thank you for taking the time to read this.
I would love to see more explanations about the artefacts and diverse weapons from DC/Marvel/etc, like, how do they work, who used them over time, how powerful they can get and all that fun stuff lol
That be pretty. An encyclopedia for marvel artifacts and weapons
This needs to get more likes.
Oh I like that. Plenty to work with there
Great Idea. I'm thinking of all the legendary items on that old Marvel Heros Diablo 2 game in the early 2010s that got thrown in the dumpter. If they had Rob writing that game I'm sure we would have seen some really crazy items.
If you go way back in the videos he did some power items explained and I really liked them. Hopefully he will bring them back
New series idea: "Beyond Bad" where you talk about all the characters who have done the most horrible things in DC / Marvel comics.
"Beyond Evil" is it not better?
What about "Beyond Lame"?
Reverse Flash takes the cake for this one
Beyond absolute evil
What about “beyond not very good at all”
I’d like to see a return to your “what if” series, like Hulk getting a Red Lantern Ring. Maybe a formal Vs series, like Avengers Vs Justice League.
That would be insane
No. That series sucks 😂
yeahhh I loved that series
Oh hell yeah! Dr doom with a green lantern ring! Who could handle that kinda nonsense?!
Yes this!
One series I would like to see is instead of beyond omega level characters you could talk about in detail the most interesting places in comics such as Wakanda, Taa 2, Kun-Lun, the far shore, the Beyondverse, Atlantis, and so on, as well as the history associated with that place. That would be really cool.
This one would be sick and get all the different underworlds and pocket zones
Not as power-based, but one series i’d like to see is the history of certain comic relationships lol. Stuff like the history of gwen stacy and peter parker, or rogue and gambit. Feel like it would be a nice way to explore two characters at once
I like this one
Relationships Explained!
@@drewalexander6024That could get really dark for Kyle Rayner.😅
Idea, C Tier Classics:
You take low level heroes and villains that have cult followings and you shine a spotlight on them.
Id like to hear you talk about some lesser known/ lower tier characters. I'm not Trolling, there's a lot of interesting concepts out there that they haven't done much with. Slapstick, Speedball, Random are so excited of my favorites. Yeah big mutant fan, we have that in common.
You've talked many times about zom but im glad you've finally acknowledged how horribly designed he is.
I would love to see a series on the most absurd forgotten heros/villains
Would be cool. There's so many forgotten characters from the 80s and 90s. Like Thunderstrike or Jocosta.
Would definitely watch this series
Okay, but like how powerful is Zom?
*Marvel:* "Very."
Okay, but like in what way?

@King of EBLA No, I understand that. I’m asking it on a mechanical sense. How is he powerful? In what way?
@King of EBLA exactly this.
@You're under 19 don't argue no he’s stronger then all them, stronger then Dormammu, and eternity unless working together. Only the living tribunal can defeat him in a 1on 1

Id love to see a series about characters whose powers would compliment each other. Or if you took characters and made teams for specific missions
A Dynamic Duo series sounds fire!!!
@@DaPrince135 and thats the perfect name for it😂

Series idea: Street Level Supers.
A series about the closer to the ground, lesser known super powered characters in comics.

Comics explained, can you please do an Omega level video on Brainiac, because he constantly gets upgrades and is constantly improving it is hard to know where he ranks at.
Rob!! I love you!! I would love to see some more footage of the cosmic entities & more magical stories!! Maybe some dr.strange or Vertigo stories!!
Would love to see a best crossover series
I would love to see epic story telling moments. Such as the fake hero "King" in "one punch man", where he gives 3 assassins life crisis and have them give up their life in crime because King ignored them and ate his breakfast. xD that was hilarious and epic.
Unique powers series would be really cool imo.
How about a series about overlooked characters? Like awesome characters explained and possibly their one offs or whatever. It'd be cool to learn about more new characters
Series idea. “ Underused hero’s/villains that can play a bigger part in stories”
For some reason I’ve always wanted to see a story where Zom is facing off against the Mangog. I have no idea how that fight would come to take place, but it sure would be good.
An ‘unknown treasures’ series of comics/characters from lesser know companies or genres that are legendary and awe inspiring
Glad you asked, I've had a few ideas for series actually:
"Character fusions" you could take 2 characters and mash their powers together trying to come up with the most op character ever🤣 they don't have to be the same publication either, want to combine Hulk and Spawn?
"Tales from the comic book crypt"
You could tell us about a character that is just a serious "wtf? That character is real?" I found out about Hemo-Goblin recently and still refuse to believe that was a real character 🤣 alternatively you could also talk about a very obscure character who is interesting or very powerful, Slapstick comes to mind.
"Stan the man" just do a series about Stan Lee, I miss that dude and he has such a long interesting story.
"Read this not that" you could take a particular character and for people wanting to get into those characters could tell them which comic runs to read and which to avoid.
This isn't necessarily a "series" idea like you mean but you could either have a live watch party for the Disney+ MCU series so we can get hype with you or record your reactions so we can see them, we all love your trailer reactions and seeing you get hype like we do haha
That's all I got right now, names subject to change🤣
Dont know if it has been suggested but you should do a series where you let a character cross over between Marvel and DC (for example). "What would it look like if Kingpin went to Gotham", "if the Joker fought Deadpool"," if Magneto went to Cybertron" and so on
How about Comic’s strangest, or something like that. It would be dedicated to all sorts of really weird characters.
I don't have a new series idea, but covering the darkness and witch blade and topcoe universes would be super tight
Hey man, I think a really funny switch would be to throw the weakest power levels onto the Internet and cover some of your favourite weaklings and their greatest and weakest feats! Love the content 👌
would love a series where you talk about some obscure characters nobody talks about
I recommend having a comic threat response series where you pick for example an Omega level character, set a limit for a reasonable amount of allies who you would recruit from that universe/all of comics, who they would be, and why specifically them. It's a series you can set the rules to and test both your creativity and comic knowledge which I think would be cool.
Please bring back the rundown
SERIES IDEAS
1. Unknown Importance
Characters that are forgotten but played big roles
2. logic of powers
How character powers work and if it makes sense (work with Kyle Hill channels)
3.bring back What-If stories
Where you make up stories (wolverine gets infected by the techno-organic virus)
Series idea: talk about the writers of comic books, their history, and what you think is their greatest comic book run and what made it great in your eyes.
for a villian with, quite literally, no hands, Zom seems to dish it out left and right ;)
