    LOL I like the heart cabinets. And yes when it is a rental you are stuck with what they have. I like the miss piggy puzzle. Yes Bacon jam is amazing on a cheese burger. Thanks for the recipes.

    If you put bacon in a cold pan then heat it up, it cooks more evenly. If you drop it in a skillet that’s already at temp, the fat seizes up and doesn’t render out. Works for strips; idk about pieces. Just thought I’d pass it along. That jam looks good enough to eat.

      I cook all meats very slowly now and get better results, only exclusion being steak. It's healthier to cook meats slower, reduces carcinogens.

    They made this in the old days when there was wagons, with blueberries and bacon fat. Nutritious and didn’t spoil easily.

    I used this recipe with 4 cups of brown rice flour and it turned out really well. I could only like holes in one side though because without the gluten holding the dough together it's harder to handle and move around without it falling apart. Thanks for the killer recipes and everything else you do.

    Great idea! I made hardtack for my kids after watching Ken Burns' Civil War. Your pre production layout instantly reminded me of the first step in setting up a claymore... "inventory check!"

    This goes excellent with a cheddar cheeseburger. Made the jam and mixed into the patty. Toasted the bun with mayo. Great no mess cowboy/western burger.

    I make candied bacon all the the time. I like the smoked jalapeno bacon with burbon red pepper flakes brown sugar and syrup backed till crunchy/chewy

    thanks for a great field food idea! never seen or heard of a way to spice up hard tack, so I never bothered baking any, but I'm gonna have to try the bacon jam....might go good with pepper jelly too! Great video!

    Simply outstanding!...tastes greattttttttttttt!. Careful with that knife when cutting them onions, curl your fingers when holding that onion, that way you do not take off the tips of your fingers. That bacon jam does taste great on a burger I bet . Way to go about those heart shaped cupboards...good price, great people. Deal with it, I agree..Salute to you Sir.

    Mmmm, I'm thinking tortillia some lettuce, tomato and or bellpepper, maybe add some polled pork and bacon jam in the middle. Fold it and eat.
