ALHAMBRA URBAN SENSORY WALKING TOUR EAST MAIN ST

I lead a sensory based walk of East Main Street, which is a 1/7 mile commercial corridor. I have lived in the area for 43 years and have been walked this street. The area was developed as a streetcar neighborhood with many walking amenities from architecture, landscape, views of the mountains. The two ends are flanked by historic creeks. Today the street is wide, noisy, lacks shade, bus stop amenities and many vacant store fronts. This walk highlights this elements.
