If you have Shield Style, with good timing you can actually block their attacks. I tried it and it worked. Just gotta time the shield right. Helps if you don’t get the right chips in the first run.
God vids like these are great but weird to see as someone who played this game when it first came out and had to look up text guides on gamefaqs because videos like these were not around much back then..... if youtube was even a thing when this came out.
@@MHFelem really? I remember I went to print out a whole guide from gameFAQs from the library because I didn't have internet at home in the early 2000's
@@NekoValtz I remember that, libraries here charged for it though so I'd take notes, those little cards held some value for me, would learn notetaking in high school later and say to the teacher 'yeah no I already got that'.
@@KnownAsKenji They did charge for me to but at like 10 cents a page it just came out to like under $5. Cheaper than buying strategy guides which didn't exist. (apparently one existed for 3 but I never saw it)
For protecto 1: ZeusHammer, Guardian, Protoman V3, Ultra Bomb, and any iteration of Life Sword will work. If you have any of the Gospel chips, they will also work, but only on this fight. Protecto 2: Ultra Bomb, Elec/Aqua/Heat Ball. Protecto 3: LifeSword3 + Attack +20, Elec/Aqua/Heat Ball.
Yeah I could in this particular battle. There are battles however where the Gospel chips won't do you any good. Especially if one of the enemies are in the back panels.
Ultra bomb is your best bet in defeating the protectos. Trust me. Around WWW 3 all of the enemy panels where the protectos aren't on are holes so you'd need ultra bomb to defeat them. Ultra bomb is formed by choosing lil bomb, cross bomb, and big bomb in that particular order.
ZeusHammer, Guardian or any of the screen-damaging PAs shall work fine.
Elec ball, Aqua ball, and Fire ball from the octon family also works with them.

I was suffering trying everything but nothing worked and I gave up from the game, since no reference or guides was available

Grass Stage + Black Bomb + Fire Damage (if you're in any Heat style, you're set!)

I forget which one, but you can use a Fan chip to get them all into range and then use Gospel to take them out
@@YeetusMingus That's a cool one I hadn't heard of before!
ProtoMan V3.
Couldn't you have also used whatever gospel chip you had?
