- It's a grand statement, I know, but the Meijs Motorman could well be the coolest electric motorbike, moped, bike around!
With the practicality of a heavy duty electric bicycle and impeccable vintage motorcycle styling, its the perfect mix of head-turning old-skool cool and a truly usable electric vehicle.

Hey Jason, I just now saw your review about the MEIJS Motorman. I'm the Creative Director and created all the brand materials. I'll be happy to pass your enthusiasm on to Ronald Meijs, the designer of the Motorman. If he hasn't seen this already. ;-)
I drive a customised Motorman myself and absolutely love it, exactly the way you describe it. It's fun to drive, quick (45km/h is the legal limit), lightweight and agile. I even think the price is well worth it.
So, from one MEIJS Motorman enthusiast to another; thanks for this positive vibe.
Cheers René
Rene Verkaart What a great response. Please do. I’d be honoured. & great job, it’s wonderful 👊🏼
I just shared your review on my Linkedin channel. Thanks again for this awesome summer vibe: www.linkedin.com/posts/reneverkaart_worlds-coolest-electric-motorbike-meijs-activity-6561861168191856640-MSdi
@@JasonBradbury I mailed your review to Ronald. Here's what he said ;-)
how enthusiastic that guy is!
It makes me a little shy. Very nicely made video. If I didn't already have a Motorman, I would buy one right away .....
Thank you for forwarding.
This review definitely stood up to the hype... what a beautifully constructed piece of engineering, a motorised masterpiece....
Taking nothing away from the rest of the Gadget show group, I have properly missed Jason, and I love his youtube videos. Great stuff Jason, keep it up, can't wait to see more!
Great review as always Jason - All the necessary categories covered - Thank you!
OMG! Please Father Christmas, this is my most wanted gift...
Great view, cool bike 👍🏍
You were right, yep, did love this! What a beautiful piece of design. It is absolutely stunning, great review yet again...
Thnx my man
Very cool, I also like the bikes over at Vintage Electric in Cali - very similarly priced!!!!!
A delightful bit of kit and a thoroughly good review J! UK legalities aside I would surely be interested in this bike but the inhibitor has to be the price. Still, St Tropez seems to be the target demographic so my only option would be relocation. If only :-D
Been into bikes all my life and yes this is mental and cool at the same time
I really want one 😍
A vlog as well put together as the cool bike you’ve just reviewed.. cracking wee machine that justifiably turns heads & a price that’s not ridiculous... looks the part in hip & trendy ST Tropez that’s for sure.
Hope u & the clan are all well dude 👍🏻
Cheers fella 👊
It’s over $6000. Looks nice, though.
With bikes like the ONYX motorbike at a much lower price and very good craftsmanship and totally superior performance I think the MEIJS doesn’t make sense at its current price anymore. The only thing it has is it looks very good. But it really needs either a lower price or much better specs.
Worlds coolest electrike bike from the worlds coolest UA-cam channel....
👊🏻👍🏻🚴🏻♂️🥇🎥🎬📹
*flattered* 😜
Hey Jason, I appreciate the retro looks of that bike very cool, but the super 73 also looks good with good specs and a lot less expensive waiting for a European supplier.
How many inch is the headlight?
Michael blast does a good 1920s e bike replica called the Greaser.
Very well thought through execution but given local laws in many places easier to go with trad offerings
I'm fast learning one of the downsides of reviewing tech is the amazing stuff you get to test, but simply cannot afford to justify buying yourself! Nice review mate 👌
There are so many good choices for electric vehicles and i'm sure a lot of people would chose to ride one instead of a vehicle running on gas if the prices wasn't so high compared. Such a shame imho, i'd would get one of these in an instant were it priced better.
Since I live in a very hilly area, the bike has been designed and tested in the Netherlands, and the rear wheel is so big, I am concerned about the climbing rate of this bike. What's the max. steepness / slope it can climb up? Does the motor eventually overheat? Not sure this is a good buy for me.
Awesome bike dude
Yeah man!
does the maker not have a website...
one sandy trophy coming up..
noticed the interest in 'special '73'
with a similar spec
I'll check that one 👍

Hey Jason, Question re the Huawei P20 Pro, is it as good as people say? Enough to ditch the iPhone 6 Plus and consider a viable alternative bearing mind the expensive price tag? Also is it better than Pixel 2 or One Plus 6 if i wanted to switch to android? Cheers Tom
Tough Q. I absolutely love it. Sooo subjective. Not had much time with a Pixel 2 so don't know how to respond. All I can say is that a couple of months in and I'm wowed by it still.
Jason Bradbury thanks Jason! Keep up the vlogs love catching up on what and where you and the family are
Very very cool. Opposite end of the spectrum to the GoCycle G3 and just as jaw dropping.
Wonder what the legalities are in the UK as it’s not electrically assisted?....our laws are so behind the times!
Mark Simlo www.gov.uk/electric-bike-rules is your answer.
Pedals? Nope
Cannot be electrically propelled above 15.5mph? Nope
Is it propelled similar to a twist and go? Yep
It's classed as a motorbike. Licence, tax and insurance required oh and mot'd and requires type approval.
M3ta7h3ad I thought as much. I wish the law would change to recognise putting people on electric bikes and electric skateboards and scooters takes people out of their cars and reduces pollution and improves the environmental impact of travel. It’s no less dangerous to use an electric bike at 15mph as it is a push bike at 15mph. The UK needs to re visit the laws. Thanks for the reply fella. Looks a really lovely bike!
The US company:Vintage Electric, do equally cool bikesm very similar. And similar in price.
The Cheetarand the greaser, are just under 50% of the cost of this. And look virtually as good. I prefer the cheetah. But very nice looking bikes. Classic look of the 1940s- 1970s. Wow!!! Baby!!! That's hip*
That is such a good looking 'bike', yes its expensive but also not the most expensive bike, you can spend >£7k on a Pinarello Dogma F10 if you want. If you brought one back to the UK what would it be classed as? I assume motorbike, and therefore need to be taxed, MoT, insured etc? I would like to see it with (optional?) pedals, if only to be sure of being able to get home if the battery ran out! Still very much enjoying the videos, thanks for the effort you put into producing them 👍🏻
Jon Rice I could see something like that coming under a category P licence so car licence and a CBT. It's essentially a moped with a top speed only slightly exceeding the max allowed for one.
Edit: www.gov.uk/electric-bike-rules
To be called an Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle (EAPC) it requires...
Pedals
To be unable to be electrically assisted above 15.5mph
Have a maximum power output of 250W
Otherwise it's a motorbike. :/
agree on the pedal power requirement but would up the cocktail price

I like The Super 73 😊
nice
It looks very nice, it's clean and simply design, yet it looks like vintage motorbike. BUT the price for this simplicity is really HIGH .... but a great inspiration to build something similar at 1/3-1/2 costs
Can you carry some luggage in the hole under the battery? I’m talking about a backpack or a grocery store bag...
The Greaser......not quite as nice but damn close and it has real peddles.......so for legal purposes its still a bike.
A rigid bike for that much money seems steep to me. I think you can do a lot better in terms of practicality and comfort elsewhere. Riese & Muller Delite with the high speed Bosch motor is very plush, and extremely well made. It doesn’t have the motorcycle look, and is pedal assist. So if you desperately want a throttle, you’d have to look to something else. But I think there are a lot of great options out there.
Anything from bicycles to full size electric scooters for that price. The Vespa Elettrica might even be somewhat competitive on price when that comes out. Probably more but maybe not that much more.
fuuuuug dat 6K price tag. I can build something dope and electric for half that...
Fantastic ... so long as you don’t want to ride it in the UK ... too problematic ..shame as it’s a looker ....
why too problematic for UK
