  • Part bike. Part moped. All cool. Ride the Vintage Tracker anyway you like, though hang on. Its "race mode" taps 3,000 watts of power for a top speed of 36 mph - no pedaling! There's more to it. Vintage cofounder Brian Hamilton explains. Find more at oregon-e-bikes.shoplightspeed.com

3000 watt motor and it only goes 23 miles/hr and in race mode it only goes 36 miles/hr. My bike motor is 1000/1500 watts and can go 25 miles/hr and in race mode (voltage change) 38-40 miles/hr. Vintage Electric is asking too much for their bikes! I made my own from their first production tracker for half the price and without their limiter for the voltage mode change.

I own that model , in race mode I’ve been clocked at 55.8mph on the flat using a sat nav , and I’m about to make it go faster ......
it is worth the money because the components used were top notch , if you look at the little details , they bought the best saddle the 2nd best brakes best grips top make hub ... expensive make motor , even the regen button is a top quality one then there’s the speed controller which is a very good piece of kit program adjustable ... the 4 all metal badges Engraved , of course that battery box of which they are rightly proud , the paint is powder coated , the frame wasn’t cheap to make and the welds are beautiful !
I love the Kevlar lined tyres it’s a real smooth ride , mine has the inverted suspension forks too , I also like the ignition key on the side , as it’s an American key that we can’t copy over here in England. The head lamp is real high quality as it’s the first thing your eye is drawn to when being smiled at from cars coming the opposite way , .....the only down side is everyone wants to talk to you about it , in fact it gets so much attention you have to beat the women back with a stick and add 1 hour to your journey , to talk about range ;speed , made in California etc.
Can you tell I love it yet ? Well if your not convinced let me close with this I-bought another one The Roadster.

Wow I thought you were just hating, did a quick Google search and found one for under a grand, with the upgraded suspension fork. It's identical, even has the leather fork bumpers, only difference is it does not have the branding. What a scam!

So fuckin what.My ebike has throttle only as 3 year's old.So fuck European rules don't apply to mine.Just put kit conversion or another rear hub motor. No disrespect to an awsome bike but he doesn't have to peddle.I bet he charges a fortune for that style.A con.
