When my mother fell recently at 88, I started practicing the Fine Art of falling. It's a strange thing because it doesn't always go the way you think it will. There's no perfect way to land. Flexibility, balance and good eyesight as well as not living in an obstacle course are huge, but even a minimalist can lose balance. Long Live everyone.😘 God bless

When you are young you zip up and down those stairs. when you are old they look like the trail up Mt. Everest. The elderly end up putting a bed downstairs and never go up again. Sell that two storey house before you retire.

Even a bungalow / ranch style has problems. Lot of people have to end up using a bedroom converted into a laundry room because they can't make the basement stairs anymore
