Thanks, WIlgus! Yeah, this one really caught me by surprise. Months ago when those gray "product development" molds started showing up in publicity showcases or whatever, my initial reaction was "These look kind of cool, but they already released Firmhand - what's the value of four separate new dog molds??"... a good figure is a good figure, no matter what came before it I guess. All I can say is, I guarantee you will _not_ be disappointed by this pooch! Hope you're able to pick it up. Have a Happy Thanksgiving. ✌😎🦃
Roarmeo is a bit of an odd name, but since he's the "alpha dog" of the canine set my guess is his name is derived from the luxury car manufacturer, Alfa Romeo. What do you think?
@@Unicronsupreme Haha, yeah I think I remember someone making that comment on the message board; we may be only a couple of months away from finding out for sure. Thanks for sharing!
I got mine from 52Toys' store on Aliexpress. Those ship directly from China and take 3-4 weeks to deliver, but I would definitely recommend ordering yours over there this weekend. They've got a pretty sweet deal on these with a Black Friday sale!
Thanks, I appreciate that! That's an interesting question and I don't have a straightforward answer unfortunately -- certain figures might get a slight redesign and get a different number designation (like the difference between the bull, ox, horse, etc.), and there have been _a ton_ of them that are simply repaints with no difference in the mold. A lot of those have never sold outside of mainland China tend to be sought after in the collector's market. Right now, they're up to BB-51 (this dog series) and 52Toys probably isn't far from announcing which figure will be BB-52. There are a handful of all-new figures on the way, and all said and told I'd guesstimate there have been upwards of 100 figure repaints. So 150-200 Beastboxes total, maybe? It depends on how you look at it. 🤷♂
😳 Thanks for the review!
I appreciate the comment - and thank you for making cool stuff!!! ✌😎
