Hi idk how they did it, but for the lighting on the window, I just remove the faces and place a cube outside the window, and applied emission material. Don't know if this make sense, feel free to reply if you're confuse
I'm studying 3D recently, and I'm enjoying your tutorial. Please upload a lot in the future. Thank you for the great video. I'll learn and do my best! ^-^
I solved it, let me help you Once you select the First Drawer, Press Ctrl + R and the loop cut as shown, once you cut it hold Ctrl + B and you will get a cursor like this then drag it to the right and make a bezel (which will be another parallel line to the cut loop as shown), once it is ready. Now, here is the tricky part, Click on "E" once and don't do anything and do not move the mouse, click on the middle mouse button and you will see 3 line which is Red, Green and Blue. Now according to the position of the drawer slide it inside towards the pillar by holding the middle mouse button and dragging it towards the line which is going towards the pillar and it'll be done. Same with the small drawer at the very right hand side. It took me 2 hours to figure it out considering I just started Blender.
a tip for the first part with the room walls, take the default cube, scale it and delete the top and front faces. It should save some time
would love to see your lighting as well:)

ALSO, the material for the curtains, lower down the alpha to change the opacity so the light can pass through
