Great vid! Helps to reinforce my knowledge of basics in Blender. Question though: even though I used a Glass BSDF for the front of the oven doors, I was unable to assign an emission property, or get a light to shine (or appear to shine) through. Could you provide a bit more detail on that particular aspect of things? Thanks!
Make sure youre in the cycles render engine. Behind the glass oven door, place a light and in the light properties increase the light intensity. I placed an area light behind the doors and made sure that it was rotated the proper way to shine out of the glass door. Does this help?
@@twanoligschlaeger I ended up deciding that I wanted to put stuff inside the ovens, so I made the front panels transparent via a glass texture/shader I learned how to make and apply. I copied the top panel of the inside oven extrusion and applied a fairly stout emission to it and I finally added an area light to cast light down onto the pastries and bread inside the ovens. I even learned a good process to make oven racks for everything to sit on. Also discovered how to make good glass in Eevee! And I got light to shine out through it as well! Thanks for the response. I appreciate it! 👍
I mean tbh it doesn't even seem like he realizes. But like how could he not, right? The constant flickering isn't really good for a tutorial. That said I'm enjoying the content over all so far.
isometric rooms are like a piece from a large cake, it is usually created to depict some kind of diorama, belonged to a larger piece of environment, but as time went people adapted them into a new art style. that's all, just like film photography is considered as another way of aesthetically taking photos.
17.18, why i can't apply bevel on my breado :C I hate that i started this tutorial too early and I'm like: every step needs 3 more tutorials to make a fckin bun xD
@@capochinoo1728 ye, try to apply Scalę (ctrl+a) in object Mode, or if it wont help, go to edit Mode with vertices, and A to mark all, right click, then merge and merge by distance. I dont remember what exactly i did cuz it was long time ago but it should be one of this to ways
I didn't really liked your video because in the beginning you were making it step by step. At the end you started doing it faster and i didn't understand.

Thank you for such a great video! For the floor planks my "Principled BDSF" does not have as many options... I am using Blender 4.2.3
The fact that this guy is modeling in cycles, makes me hate my laptop

Please I need the second part of the video, I like modeling and I want to finish it and you don't have the second part.
