my guy stacks the white snake on top instead of a kaya at the end? couldve drawn into a 2k counter, also if he activated white snake instead of snake dance he could have won by not being able to be swong on by 5ks

I agree that the play seemed off, but with four don left and plenty to swing with (sanji & queen), maybe he just didn’t think he had an out left? You’d only have one don & theoretically a kaya & daz bones to counter out of swings, with the correct math I think nami still is cooked

I agree with you and have implemented Gum Gum Rain (0 cost event) into my build

I think it's a neat tech card to include, especially against RP Law with those 7k KidKiller swings

@@atrocioustcg I have an 08 build (kuja/whitebeard) including 2 gum rains, Thatch (4 cost 5k 1k-counter : if he leaves play by an effect (either KO or to bottom deck) - he instead goes straight to trash and draw 1. I added the Moby Dick stage (2 cost - draw 1 place 1 on top or bottom of deck if any whitebeard pirate leaves play.) and then added the Ace 3 cost (main: bring this card back to your hand and look at the top 5 of your deck and place top or bottom). It basically allows me to play ace and pick any of the top 5 cards to switch with a card in my hand.. etc. - while also ensuring ace doesn’t get bottom decked. He’s in and out of your turn to draw any card from your top 5. Takes some getting used to but it’s a good counter to RP law/removal/KO and it’s just fun 👍🏽

Why is the law player able to organize the Namis trash? According to rules only the players who controls the trash can do this. Is this different in Japan??? Rule 3-5-2

To me, the fundamental mistakes were never resolving a gloriosa when you know there’s a kaya in bottom deck to push it back up, and keeping the Marguerite instead of gavel. Imagine if Nami had gavel instead of Marguerite in the last turn and had all 10-don up as a result, then drawing into a white snake wouldn’t feel bad at all. Confusing since I have no idea what the game plan would ever be with Marguerite other than going even on cards…. But i guess he has strats I don’t know about…

In terms of playing Gloriossa, I wonder if he felt that he’d have low odds to hit a card off search. He probably thought it’d just get sent back to the deck

@@atrocioustcg In my experience, playing against RPLaw as Nami is such a disadvantangeous matchup that you generally have to go for high risk plays. The Nami's triggers were insane (2 impel down and a spada), and they still lost, showing how difficult this matchup can be even for good players.
More than that however, because the RPLaw player will be bottoming cards, you generally do have at least 1-2 Kaya's at bottom deck, and you need searchers to push them back up so you have a line to go for a win on your turn when you're at ~12ish cards. Nami keeps this Marguerite in hand all the way till he has

that nami player makes me furious. White snake has most value at the beginning. Keeping it for to long was his downfall. Trashing Kaya cost him the game. Better rearangement would habe trashed the useless white snakes at the end. BUT, the biggest mistake was that Margret, costing 3 don to draw 1 and geting put back at the bottom. So its 3 don to +/- 0!!! value

He could won if he only put white snake and then kaya beacuse like this he mills white snake and draw 2k

I’m not sure if he guarantees the win, but I think it does put him in a better position to win
