You never fail too amaze people.
Just keep in mind that suspension has 2 jobs, absorbing rapid small changes in terrain (terrain shock absorption) and keeping as many wheels on the ground as much as possible to keep the drivetrain moving at a constant torque (reduce torque shock).
Suspension systems that accomplish this are less likely to spin out and result a smooth ride for the operator allowing them to make more relaxed decisions.
better than normal rover wheels by miles
The suspension is really well made!
Thank you!
I put a lot of effort into it, hope you enjoy
@@Kennet0508 will do!
Brilliant!
Myself I always have mine built for high speed but they have a lot of roll on the body so it will lean a lot to prevent rollovers and it seems to work considering they're really flat and low to the ground usually
Tekk recently added camber/anti roll to his subgrid wheel script, so the suspension banks into turns, you should check out Tekk's subgrid wheel script
@@Kennet0508 hm. Thanks
nice
This thing is sick
I think keen should remove the current suspension and give us wheels with bearings and suspension components all separate. That way we can come up with better suspension setups
well yeah, but that would ruin all the hovercraft builds, because they use the weird as glitchines of the current wheel things xD
Wow man, this is amazing! How do you put rotator parts on wheels base? Is it possible? Im see thing first time in my life
there are three ways to do this:
1. Blueprint editing (there are plenty of guides online that explain this concept)
2. Copy pasting an existing one, or getting an existing blueprint and pasting.
3. using mods or scripts like buildvision will allow you to attach rotor heads to suspensions (only survival way to build it)
Realy nice build :) I assume it needs Subgrid Wheel/thruster control script to drive it ?
Indeed, you could possibly add the wheel group to the hot bar with increase, decrease and reset propulsion, and the same for steering, increase, decrease reset steering override would work fine
Or i guess you could slap on some thrusters and gyros and turn down friction
Very nice build indeed.
Is it possible to make a script free suspension landing gear for a ship.
One that isn’t extremely complex.
I find that my ships tends to break the landing gear. But with a suspension it would definitely make it better.
I’m playing on Series x btw. So perhaps it isn’t possible.
Anyway I like what I saw and subscribed 😊
Just look at my workshop, the rotor suspension landing gear is script free
@@Kennet0508 thank you very much ☺️👍
Its crazy how you make the suspension? is there a way to paste that on other builds or does it have to be with the specific grid?
You can copy paste it to any grid, you may have some trouble with tolerances, but i built this using a lot of copy pasting
Just be wary, you can't merge two rotor heads together from two suspensions, so if you need to link two for stability, use a hinge in-between

Could you maybe put out videos of how to male these? Survival servers dont allow me to spawn in and take apart these creations
theese were made by blueprint modding, you can also achieve this via buildvision or scripting where the script gives an attach command, i have no idea how to script that tho
Best advice i got is to get friendly with an admin and have them spawn it in if the game doesnt have buildvision, or convice them that buildvision is something your server should have as its the best mod that exists for SE
how did you attach the rotor head to the chassis?
It's been answered in the comment section several times, it's not something you can make in survival or creative, you need to copy paste it or use mods/scripts
now do it without a whip script
That's pretty simple for you to convert, just add the wheel control group to the hot bar with increase, reset and decrease steering override, slap some thrusters on it and your good to go
Any advanced suspension needs scripts or the wheels linked to the hot bar
