Would have been better if this was line for line with exactly what was written in the dialog, but I still appreciate it. Considering how short this story is, and how long this video is (about 12 minutes to tell the story), it's no wonder they have to cut novels down so much to make a movie.
The performances take all the tension and mystery out of the story by telling us that the man is the only problem. Also why are they in a broom closet?
This is beautifully shot. She is a lovely actress. All the acting is quite good. But this is too slow and could use editing. Lots of license here with Hemingway's work and some of it works. All in all, a very beautiful looking film.

I was into it till the male spoke. seemed to ruin it with his dull and flat rendition
