No brainer. Universal Orlando all the way. Going May 2024 with my best friend and a mutual friend coming up from Brazil to join us!!! This will be our first time going there. Universal is always more fun, affordable, and easier to plan for me and my family so it’s always our first choice. Universal often offers buy 2 get 3 days free and other multi day packages. Universal also has offered multi day tickets, Halloween horror night tickets, and hotel ticket packages every year and you can’t beat that- I’ve never seen Disney offer that deal for their Halloween or Christmas events. It’s always convenient and easy for me to plan and pick a flight, hotel, and ticket package for my family on Universal’s website- I’ve done it about 5 times since 2016. They always have hotel deals as well. Universal’s premiere hotels offer unlimited express passes for your entire hotel stay while Disney charges you lightening lane per person per ride and doesn’t offer any discounts. My son refuses to visit Disney because of how much he prefers Universal parks and hotels. The new Princess and the Frog restaurant is absolutely horrible- they claim to base it on New Orleans creole cuisine but the food is bland, barely seasoned, and I can tell whoever designed the menu/food sold is not a person of color and doesn’t know much about the culture and food.
Universal without question. Less hassle, Cheaper, more fun for adults, passholders discounts are better. I have express pass i can skip lines all day. Dont have to make a return time and stay on my phone all day. Disney is falling off the rails. Use to go to disney every year. But now we go like every few years.
How about both. Plans are to do Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and then Epcot-3 days plus probably a part day trip to Disney Springs. Also doing one day at Universal.
@@TheParkProdigy That was the plan when we went…but found that we needed a rest day between each day at the Disney Parks. So opted to forgo even a day at Universal. Not sure if I can convince my wife to go on this type of trip again.
I think it depends on age I think there is more for small toddlers at Disney but as my kids are all grown its def Universal and it's alot cheaper and less complicated

I love Disney but everything has become so calculated and requires such extensive planning it takes all the fun away from the experience. Ppl just want to go and have fun. Not plan out every second of their vacation from start to finish.
I don't know why people enjoy Disney World to be honest with you . I just see it as non-stop stress which is the exact opposite of what you want your vacation to be.

We have preferred Universal for almost 20 yrs. You can leave your phone in your hotel room and enjoy the company you're with.
