Who on earth would be watching your wonderful videos that they watch FOR FREE and complain that you promote your business too much? Keep plugging it! We appreciate you!
Here is a mistake to avoid, unless I missed it. If you are trying to take the train from one Potter land to the next and your not actually interested in the story, you may save a ton of time just walking over to the other park if the wait time for the train is over 30 mins. Its about a 20 min walk from deep in the parks but even shorter if you are closer to the front.
Another mistake i made until recently was skipping out on the shows at Studios. Especially the Bourne Stuntacular! That show is jaw droppingly amazing.
Loving your content. I've been going to universal since 2002, more so the last couple of years, but I always love to learn more and anything I've missed + updates. One other tip I would suggest is getting a lanyard! It's great for the express pass but also your ticket and it's such easy access- just have the barcode accessible from the outside and it saves a lot of hassle in my opinion. And you can upload your ticket and credit cards on the app for better access, but also security if you happen to lose your ticket. Another thing is I always carry a light jacket with me if I know I'll be eating indoors at some point, because while it's hot most of the time outside (unless maybe if it's raining especially at night) some of the restaurants are freezing lol
You can bring your own collapsible cup or refillable water bottle and get FREE ice and water at ANY Coke freestyle machine in either park! Also; best time to go to volcano bay is Oct! Fewer crowds and still warm. If you’ve got more than five people in your group renting the cabana during Oct (not the middle of summer) is TOTALLY WORTH IT! Butler type service with your own dedicated cabana and free food, towels, water bottles etc for the whole day! Prices increase depending on time of year (just like with fast passes) so plan ahead and book online for a cabana.
Great video! Thank you. We are going for the first time in May. We are staying at cabana Bay but I was really worried about the food cost, so I’m definitely going to have groceries sent over. Thank you for the tip.
another great thing about these parks is that you can bring your own snacks into the park like granola bars, fruit snacks, etc. to tie you over. There's also the Coca Cola freestyle cup which is worth it if you enjoy drinks other than water (I used it for Powerade many times as well as icee) and they're cheaper when you buy as a bundle. And the popcorn bucket can give you refills at a reduced rate.
We’ve gone several times over the last four years with six of us in the family. We’ve never needed the express passes At all. Easiest is to stay in Surfside or Dockside Endless summer resort. Take the bus from the resort over. Get in with early admission and do all the “Harry Potter” lands in that hour before regular admission guests arrive. (Either park Universal or IOA.) Usually when going for two to three days you can see and do all the things you want in two days without a fast pass. HOWEVER; if you’re thinking of going in the middle of summer, you might want to consider fast passes. But in general Universal Orlando main park is small. You can do the whole park in a day. Islands of adventure is a bit bigger and takes a bit longer. We’ve never felt like we “needed” the passes, or that we missed out in any way without them. If you going for a single day-absolutely- Consider the fast passes.
Thanks for that advice! We (family with 2 tweens) are going to Orlando for the first time during spring break and have allotted 2 days for Universal. We already booked hotel stay at a Premium Resort to get the Unlimited Express Pass. We've seen Harry Pottery but are not superfans. Do you think it's worth paying $160 extra total for 2-day Park-to-Park tickets (+2 days promo) vs 2-day Base tickets (+2 days promo). I'm thinking we can even go to IOA after we check-in the night before our first day just to ride Hagrids, since that is supposed to be the best ride.
Hi I have a question. I’m a US resident here on a work visa, can I avail the free promotion- 3 days park ticket with 2 days free? As in the promotion it said valid for US / Canada residents only . Since I’m not a US citizen, wondering if that has any impact?
Single day tickets do not include early park admission at this time. However multi-day tickets do! Feel free to email me mike@theparkprodigy.com with any further questions.
Also; as of this time “kids zone” is currently closed to be re-themed to “DreamWorks land” with all the IP’s that come along with it. -shrek, kung fu panda, trolls etc. so kid zone is closed right now. As of Feb-early March 2024. They’re working fast, and it looks like hustling for an opening date sometime In the summer of 2024. But as of right now, there is really not much for little kids to do other than a few things in minions land. IOA has all of suess landing.

The September hack works at most major parks. We used to do Cedar Point in September and would ride things that took 2-3 hours lines in 10-15 minutes.
Great to know!!
Super helpful video! I appreciate how direct and to-the-point you are, no fluff! A 21-minute video with 21 minutes of content
Happy you liked it!!
This is helping so much with my planning! I’m going in September and I’m so excited! Keep up the good work!
Have fun!

Hi! Feel free to email me at mike @ theparkprodigy.com as I have a few follow up questions 👍🏻
Can I still access my locker after the park closed?
What time does island of adventure open for regular person who didn’t purchase early admission tickets? 9am?
Typically 9 am but be sure to check the Universal Orlando App before your visit
What is the weather in early February typically in Orlando?
It’s typically warm during the day and possibly cooler at night but it’s really hit or miss unfortunately
Question, your site is a little confusing to navigate. If we buy tickets for a single day, is early access included or how do we get that?
Single day tickets do not include early park admission at this time. However multi-day tickets do! Feel free to email me mike@theparkprodigy.com with any further questions.
@@TheParkProdigy aw, well that's unfortunate.... only in town 3 days. Doing 2 at Disney with hoppers
Thank you 😊 ❤❤❤
No problem!
What store do you order groceries from?
You can order from any store of your choosing - Publix, Walmart, Target etc.

Except what 2 rides? Velocicoaster has express.
Hagrids and pteranodon flyers
Ohh thanks , I have never been able to ride.
With the flyers, an adult or teenager can only ride if with a child under the height limit. @@jerameymanuel9083
Hagrids Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure and pteranodon flyers (only 12 and under can ride)
Most of this is just advertising for more expensive packages 😂
I hate crowds
Same!!
I won't make these mistakes
Thanks for watching!
