LOUDEST GTI MK7 TURBO SPOOLS - IE INTAKE

  • Welcome back to another video!
    Today's video consists of my first "performance" modification! I decided to jump on the Integrated Engineering Cold Air Intake & Turbo inlet! This was a fun and relatively easy install. I'll be showing you a bit of my installation process, sound clips and a POV drive inside the cabin.
    I would highly recommend this mod to anyone who wants more sound, slightly stronger throttle response but mainly to just enjoy that turbo spool sound.
    I actually had videos of the stock intake sounds, POV drives but my audio was all messed up so I couldn’t add that to this full video. Wish I could have shown you all the difference between stock vs intake.
    If you have any questions, let me know below! I hope you enjoyed this video as much as I did!

      @@ordinarydrive3652 I had MK4 R32... I prefer my MK7 GTI, faster since Stage I and nicer interior... the only reason I don't own a MK7 R is no sunroof, and no 2door option in America. I can't bring myself to get rid of this GTI... so I'm going to go big turbo, and brake kit, and a few other things. It's a 2015 and only has 56K miles, so plenty of life left in her. I’m not sure if it’s necessary but do you need a tune for a cold air intake just to have it on? I know it’s more beneficial for trying get more HP

    • @ordinarydrive3652
      @ordinarydrive3652  2 роки тому

      No tune is needed!
      The only time a tune is more required is when you get a downpipe (stage 2). Otherwise simple bolt ons like catback exhaust and intake don’t need a tune.
      However a stage 1 or 2 tune will make a drastic change for more HP!

    Just go mine but the bracket on the new inlet doesn’t line up with the turbo hole for the bolt. Any suggestions?

    • @ordinarydrive3652
      @ordinarydrive3652  3 місяці тому

      Hmm, are you pushing the inlet far enough back that it feels like it connects to the turbo? It should fit in snug and when you twist to fit, should be twisting towards the back end of the car.
      Double check to make sure you ordered the right part that fits your car as well.
