- Is The Mitsubishi Montero Sport GT 4x4 the Best Value 4x4 SUV Today?
The 2022 Mitsubishi Montero Sport GT 4x4 is the top-spec midsize SUV in Mitsubishi Philippines' stable, and it is also one of the more affordable 4x4 SUVs in the country today. The 2021 Mitsubishi MonteroSport GT 4x4 is also the most capable off-roading midsize SUV straight from the factory, with a center locking differential and a rear locking differential. In this Filipino car review, we take the 2022 Montero Sport GT 4x4 to the mountains and tackle a jungle trail. The 2022 Montero Sport is not the biggest or widest midsize SUV available, but it is highly capable on the trail. It has a better 4WD system than the Ford Everest, the Toyota Fortuner, the Isuzu MU-X, and the Nissan Terra. The 2022 Mitsubishi Montero Sport is based off the Mitsubishi Strada, and is called the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport or Mitsubishi Shogun Sport in other markets. The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is the name in Australia, and Shogun Sport in the the UK.

Good review Reygan! Best looking mid size suv in my opinion because of its agressive looks. However, I rarely see this montero model in trails and offroaders. I wonder why.

@@thehammer3340 saan? Sa power? Eh mas magaan ang Mitsubishi lalo na pick up version kahit hindi nila inupdate yung power sa facelift ngayon, hindi tulad ng sa Toyota. Wala pa akong nababalitaan na problema sa all aluminum engine nilang "2.4 ang", kahit ako nga duda ako dahil mas stressed sa turbo boost ang makina kaysa 2.8 o 3.2 ng Ford sa matagalan. Makikita mo naman hindi napag-iwanan at nanguna pa sa drag race nito sa Hilux at Ranger na mas malaki ang makina. Pero yung Raptor putek 2.0 lang pala at may problema pa sa quality. Bilangan mo na rin sa katagalan kung kasing ok rin ito ng 2.4 ng Mitsubishi, lalo na nireplace nila yung 3.2 sa top of the line Ranger at Everest. Kung towing at baragan maganda naman check mo nalang Tritons sa Australia.

Where you on 4Lo during filming? the track doesnt look that challenging. Could be traversed with just 2wd.
Was just on 4H, it wasn't a challenging trail. I didn't have a spotter/buddy that time so didn't go for the more challenging trails.

Hi Reygan, I am not familiar with the Montero, but I plan to purchase the Montero 4x4. My mom has motion sickness, “matagtag ba” for 2nd or 3rd passenger seats? Hope you can enlighten me on it. Is the suspension great?
You may want to consider a midsize crossover instead for your mom's condition. Most PPVs have a bumpier ride than usual.
