Finally I got a ride on the Montero (2025 facelift same body design of this Montero) for the first time and it was damn smooth while riding slowly around 10kmph and it was not bumpy at all the chairs are so soft to touch lol
Hi we have this model and the steering is quite light but the steering wheel does not go back to the center on its own especially when make a sharp turn. Is this normal? Or should we get it checked out? Thanks.

Super select ll is the 4WD system of montero sport po, 2H for normal road condition, 4H for wet road & uphill climbing for up to 100kph,both 4HLc & 4LLc need to stop to engage for serious off-road situation such as muddy, rock, sand. You can only engage rear differential lock with 4LLc mode.

2021 montero gls is a better option than getting the top of the range one, since most features of the top of line are also available in the GLS variant, like the multi view monitor and almost the same interior

I feel like the companies are taking advantage of the pandemic where a lot of people need a vehicle. I finally found a job, weekday only compared to my previous, and now have time for side hussle on the weekends. Because of this I’m planning to buy a Pick-up(Navara). Based only on research thru the internet, I want to get the Navara VE (≈P1.4M) it’s the middle option while previously the middle option was EL Calibre (≈P1.2).
It is nice every time car reviewers share something about their personal vehicles :) Mr. Vince Pornelos of Autoindustriya also shared about his driving experience with his Nissan Navara :)
The only problem I had with the Montero and Mitsubishi Vehicles is the AC. Not that it's not cold or reliable, it definitely is. But it tends to suffer from leaks, compressor problems, etc., after 5 years. We have 3 Mitsubishi vehicles, and all of it suffered the same problem. 😢

Damn, that 3rd row is stressful to look at. Yep, it can be folded downwards unlike the Fortuner, but the seating position is not ideal. His knee is bent almost up to his chest which is very uncomfortable in long drives.

4th Gen Montero is expected to be launched in 2023 which is based on the Navara/Terra. Don't you think the current Gen's platform is starting to show its age?
2.298m? Wasn't the GT 4x4 a ridiculous 2.45m pesos? If they changed the price, 2.298m is a bit easier to swallow, but you can get the Bi-turbo Everest for not much more. It would have been better if the GT 4x2 and 4x4 shared the exact same features too.

but the interior is ugly and basic, infosystem without backcam or analog radio.

we want a montero for our second/family car but the maintenance cost and fuel efficiency draw us back, instead we get a Suzuki XL7
