Such A Bad Yter For Them To Sponsor SMH
But that was Ludwig in the ad pretending Mr Mail is the dummy :|
A huge shoutout to those very kind actors who were just trying to ensure kids had a special day. That's extremely thoughtful and considerate.
For real, they knew that the people there would probably be in a shitty mood from the entrance and "decoration" automatically but still stuck through it lol
Daaaamn right

the pricing of 44 dollars for all ages would’ve been my first red flag
Ludwig doesn’t know how to create content like I do. My animations are better.
that’s what i was thinking too. kids under a certain age usually have different rates
The AI art promotions is also a massive red flag
@@dilemma_pickle often if it's an experience designed for kids, the kids get charged full price and the adults go free or a reduced price. For example a trip to Santa's Grotto.
I mean one would expect some kind of candy being handed out at willy's chocolate experience, so the price does make kinda sense
This whole situation is like a bad episode of Punk'd, but with kids and chocolate instead of celebrities.
Crypto incel 💀☠️
without chocolate 💀
Imagine buying a million subscriber channel only to shill crypto through an AI generated image of a woman and paying someone to read a script out loud. Crazy. Then even botting a few hundred likes on your comments so that natural ones can flow in afterwards.
@@rolandb i bet is not even a million suscribers, those are a million bots

The biggest scam ever was when my parents told me we were going to Disney and then took me to the dentist
Damn it's supposed to be the other way around
that’s tough
i dont understand that because it makes the whole experience more traumatizing.
We are going to Disney!! (We moved across the country)
Ludwig doesn’t know how to create content like I do. My animations are better.
The fact that he apologized for "not meeting expectations" is hilariously awful. Dude also has books on Amazon written completely through AI lmao.
Of course he does. Damn imagine what these people gonna try and do when AI is better.

As a Scotsman, this all tracks. Honestly I’m surprised the chocolate factory wasn’t just an actual meth lab…
if we had meth in the uk it definitely would've been
Willy Wonka Meth Bars are a funny concept to think about.
it definitely looks like that in this picture at 2:27
@@phoenix2922 We absolutely do... Trust me.
Willy, what the hell are you talking about?
My heart goes out to those kids, man. They did not deserve to be robbed of a what was supposed to be amazing experience. I can't imagine how heartbreaking it must've been.
Their parents also spent their hard earn money to allow for the kids to have a good experience. I feel for all of the victims of the scam.
I know how my nephews and niece have reacted to being told they're doing a fun thing, that is adjacent to something they like, and then not actually getting to do that thing before... And oh lord I feel for those parents because this must've been that turned up to 11
The thing is, as a 90s kid from the UK. I already knew what i was about to see before it was even shown. xD People have done this shit for years but usually with less success because it's usually very local and small scale. This how ever had the traction of social media.
what you mean???? they got a magic jellybean and lemonade
yea i dont know why but I dont see it as a tragic experience i think you could give the kids a good time with the actors and still have a good laugh as the adults who clearly didnt do the homework. no harm no foul i know lots of kids who didnt even have this sad attempt at wonka world growing up
Dude I actually burst out laughing when I saw that first picture. Hopefully they end up paying the actors. But 44 damn bucks? I could buy like half a chipotle burrito with that!
Ludwig doesn’t know how to create content like I do. My animations are better.
real
@@IAmAQueenCryAbtItyour shit is wack
now this guys pretty funny
It's crazy how little effort would have made it passable.
Have the "unknown" be a mustache twirling villain that runs around hiding in obvious places, and when you find him he gives you weird chocolate (like pop rock chocolates), then have every actor have a different special type of chocolate to give out after hearing their story, solving a riddle, or like finding something hidden around the factory.
A nice fondue bar at the end.
Throw in like $500 of decorations (and maybe a few hundred dollars on proper costumes).
Like would it be the best experience? Of course not. But if you were stuffed full of a bunch of unique tasty chocolate and your kids were focused on finding new people to talk too because they wanted new chocolate, you wouldn't complain too much, would you?
I love the idea of themed characters handing out themed candy. A firey character handing out pepper chocolate. A pale character handing out white chocolate. A fisherman with Swedish fish. A boatman that gives a bottle of chocolate soda.
The unknown could either hand out mystery flavors, or be antithetical to the chocolate theme and hand out non-chocolate candies.
What's a fondue bar
good idea
@@war_tortoise8681Melted cheese that you dunk things into. It's delicious.
@@kylelilley4814And wine xD
Or you know just chocolate in this case.
This is one of the dumbest scams I've ever heard of. The idiot who designed this could have just taken the money and sent them to an empty warehouse, but no, now their pathetic attempt at a scam is immortalized.
because it was never a scam. they just half-assed the event. in the end they refunded all the customers. a real scammer would never do that.
they were just bad at their job
@@MrLeeSensei still a scam, just not complete fraud
This comes from what seems to be a respectable company, not a random single scam artist trying to make a quick buck.
This one project manager was just woefully unprepared and promised the company an event made entirely through AI hoping that it'd somehow work out?? Or something. He's hopefully fired. The company is (mostly) doing the right things, and should've had some better quality control before hosting to public.
@@littlemonztergaming8665No the company is owned by the guy, and he is also their sole employee. Its some sleazebag trying to make a few bucks off of AI generated random shmuck.
@@MrLeeSenseiWell when said scammer is caught with their pants down ifront of a live audience of 10 million i feel like they would just get absolutely flamed for not giving the money back and probabaly wouldve been sued for more than the refund
I had to hold an “English Camp” over Zoom in 2020 to a bunch of middle schoolers based on Charlie and the Choclate factory. I had no budget and it was over zoom so minimal interaction.
It was still better than this. They have no excuse.
Such a waste of everyone's time.
$44 per person, waste of money too…

@@ahiowehfiowjit They didn't know it was a scam, they were told lies too
starting to think this is a demonstration of why hiring AI to do real people’s work WON’T work.
The thing is, the props, scenery, and costumes had nothing to do with AI. The only things the AI could have been used for was scripts (horrible, although those could have just been bad writers too) and the artwork on the website. The use of AI isn't the problem here. Its the lack of scenery and props (there was some, but wow was it bad and not enough), the lack of time for the actors to learn their lines, lack of decent costumes, poor writing on the scripts, etc. In other words, lack of preparation. This looks like they through the whole thing together the day before everybody showed up.
Ludwig doesn’t know how to create content like I do. My animations are better.

Lol
It's sad how greedy people can be, especially when they try to scam kids. hopefully there can be some sort of refund for the parents.
He did say that they gave refunds (although the actors probably didn't get paid).
Sounds exactly what 40-year-olds and boomers thought that you could do exactly with AI, not knowing the mistakes that it makes, or on sudden nonsensical things that it creates

@@ahiowehfiowjit The whole experience was a mess
@@ahiowehfiowjit Actually Roald Dahl books and the film adaptions still scar me from childhood so that kind of checks out.

And than the unknown comes and steals 40 bucks from them
10 kids, 10 bars, 10 construction paper tickets and ONE lucky kid to win it all!!
This happens so often here in the UK you'd think it's a business model of some sort. Every year there's 2-3 "Winter Wonderlands" that promise snow, Christmas foods and reindeer, and it's usually a hall or field, with that fake snow carpet rolled out over a few metres of ground, 2 generic food carts selling burgers and a single ill-looking reindeer with no horns.
The winter wonderland in Edinburgh slaps, you mustve not been to that one.
The biggest business red flag: GenAI images.
They should have kept this experience exactly the same but marketed to stoners instead. Would've been hilarious.
That would've been a disaster in its own way. You try handing a bunch of stoners a meager one jellybean and 1/4th cup of lemonade and you get their collective munchie-induced wrath.
I think mogul mail is a good person, he’s my friend so I would say he’s pretty good.
I’m inclined to agree

It's like when someone is left $1 from a will
@re05 Imagine actually having to go into the solicitors office to collect that cheque just to get it out of the way (otherwise I bet they will keep contacting you for years about coming to pick it up), and like, they will kind of know you were left $1as you're sitting in the waiting area and things xD
I love finding the exact moment Lud changes the title of the video. Cause you'll see one title when you click it on your feed, and a completely different one on the video itself😂
Waiting for the plot twist where Lud turns out to have bought a ticket and also got scammed
He was the unpaid oompa loompa 😪
this was just one of the houses built in jermas house flipper tournament
Im Scottish, the guy who hosted the event is a known conman who has done similar shit like that in the past. Im glad that this story broke internationally, as the scammers reputation is definitely fucked now and he wont be able to do shit like that again.
never thought i’d see a mogul mail about something that happened in glasgow
Watching so the sponsor likes this one Prayge
NOT EVEN A FULL CUP OF LEMONADE LMAOOOOOOO
Feeling like this year is the year for scammed events, at my country, we had this event for “floating lanterns” just like tangled, they even showed you pictures! They got the licence to use the space and even legitimate government documents.
The day of the event, they handed out garbage bag looking “lanterns” and an led candle. They couldn’t even let the lanterns float up and needed to be tied down.
It was 50 dollars per person.
I cannot get over the oompa loompa LOL
The organizer of the event actually is an author. He wrote 16 books. However...the books have ALL been proven to have been FULLY written with AI. I don't know if he can get much punishment but something has to be done with him getting paid for something that he takes credit for that wasn't by his.
the fact that there's a mogul mail on this now only makes it funnier
I hate how modern AI tools make so many people think they can be lazy af and make money with it. Good to see this example of such people not getting away with it went viral.
The event was high school level attraction, I recall going to a Halloween thing and this was the similar outcome of production sets. To get people to pay for THIS though is uncalled for.
I stay in Scotland not far from Glasgow and a friend of mine saw ads for this event and lucky for them decided to not go! Over here since its local-ish we have been roasting this so much
The surreal experience of seeing my city appear on a mogul mail, and for this nonsense no less lmao
Mogul Mail should get a "scam report" jingle at this point
I find it funny that the moment he pulled up the website, i started chanting "thats AI, and thats AI..." to myself.
I get the feeling AI art is going to be a new scam indicator that screams "this person is incredibly cheap and doesnt have the talent or effort required to legitimately pull off this venture"
Perfect example of hype versus the reality
Lol, the AI art on their website would be the first sign for me to bail. That site looks like it was made to lure people and steal their kidneys.
SCOTLAND MENTIONED WOOOOOO
This reminds me of the adult swim/Meat canyon Wily Wonka Chocolate factory sketch
Not the ad 😂💀
This video and ad read finally confirms the hard truth that Ludwig is infact Mogul Mail.
Those families would literally get an infinitely better experience just by buying a chocolate bar from the nearest grocery store
That script sounds like my work in preschool lmao
Good grief, being a parent myself that made me so angry! The price was awful, but those poor children who went expect an amazing time and got this crap.
Also I hope those actors get together and sue the pants off of this company!
"This Ad disguised as a UA-cam video is insane"
Appreciate Ludwig coming onto this channel and doing an ad for him tho
AI art aside, you'll think that there's plenty of red flags when there's no pictures of the actual venue itself.
I’m so sick of rocket money ads……
Great idea for a product, get your sponsor bag, but geez their ads are everywhere.
This is great advertising for why you should maybe still paid artists and not relay in AI doing everything for you

The Ad placement is just god tier comedy
“It’s a world of your imagination”
I feel bad for the actors who got embarrassed and didn’t get paid for their “shift”
Imagine you're Ludwig's editor putting together his video on why "Committing Murder Is Bad" and then you see the sponsor segment opening with "Ignore everything you've seen in this video so far." Bold. Very bold, Mr. baker guy.
ah a classic combo, the red circle with arrow
"I have an idea for the owner of an abandoned warehouse to make money off his property. The goal is redecorating the building as Willy Wonkas chocolate factory using anything I can buy from party city and home Depot for under 80 dollars" - Nathan Fielder

Plot twist, new doug doug video drops: "I let my twitch chat and chat gpt design a willy wonka show!"
This is giving me flashbacks to dashcon
Also do you mind ludwig, i'm trying to watch mogul mail here
This is like when you do the project the night before
When Charlie and Lud making a video about the same thing at the same time makes me have to watch this
the first room escape i/family ever did was a situation like this.. some thrown together rooms in the back of a warehouse, 300$ per person ( ikr... ) and was zombie themed so there was an "employee" dressed up as a crappy killer clown zombie in a dresser and if you got within 5ft of the dresser in a room thats probably only 10'x10' they would jump out and try to touch/tag you and if the zombie touched you, you were permanently out and if anyone tried to argue it then everyone would be DQ'd no refund.. ofc i get touched instantly so 300$ for them for literally nothing, we all left 1 star reviews and was the start of me giving bad reviews to bad places that deserve bad reviews lol
Charlies videos always gets on my feed faster than mogul mail and I feel bad for Mr. Mogul so I will watch this too 👍
Brilliant way to open a video Mr. Mail
concept of an evil chocolate maker who lives in the walls is just hysterical LMFAOOOO
Speaking of scammer, you should make a video on this small indie streamer Ludwig (I think it’s Italian)
Maybe they had AI literally order the decorations and hire the actors as well. That would explain IMO
