Agree that the figure is overpriced, when most 3.0 Bandai figures are priced in this range. (Or less, like the impressive budget releases a la Naruto.) An extra accessory/blast effect, or additional shading would’ve gone a long way. Credit where it’s due, DF did a solid job to give us a competent 3.0 Normal Goku. P.S. Fantastic selection of bgm as always! Timeless TMNT.

some people use silicon oil. but i just use whatever available around me, that is, a regular motor oil 😂 i use liquimoly 5w30 🤭 works for years for me.
agreed. db shf line is honestly slow to evolve. their 3.0 body is still evolving with a little addition here & there with each release. this df is mostly based on early versions of body 3.0 (used in goku ss4, krillin, gohan sh) for a fully 3.0 evolution, check out goku legenday ssj or chainsaw man figuarts. the new luffy gear 5's thigh also has the best design/look/range in current 1/12 scale.

you should. aliexpress has many trusted sellers. i've been purchasing from them for years. look for the sellers who specialize in db figures or 12th scale in general. the price is usually a good indication whether they r genuine or scammer. check out their feedbacks to be sure.

I cannot believe bandai still has not given us base goku 3.0. They keep rereleasing goku 2.0 over and over. So much that he is coming out again this year lol.
last money grab, while perfecting 3.0 design, i supposed? fwiw, 2.0 as of 2024 is considered deprecated. avoid buying 2.0 bodies unless u get a bargain. except the exclusives as they hold their value pretty well.
imo, i choose scouter 2.0 sculpt, because i prefer that hair sculpt over the vegeta super hero hair. i like the spiky styled hair of the original 2.0 vegetas, fyi 😁 however, scouter 2.0 is difficult to find these days, so i guess tonsenart's head is your best bet.
all goku base form head is elastic, so with a hot water dip you'll be able to do it as well. while goku Super saiyan heads all have small neck hole & wont fit the 3.0 neck.
They'll get to it, DF makes the molds and does test runs like this. Feedback and general reception will go into the final production and release of the S.H.F. Where the official license and final version would roll out. (Scarlett Martial Artist, Ginyu, Jeice) just some examples of pre before final.

If you have an extra ssj4. The torso works perfect once you put the blue waist band back on
funnily enough, the thigh plates had better range than the 3.0 model. Best example is get both the 2.0 and 3.0 and move the legs back

You can take the neck peg of gohan and put it on goku. It makes a nice and tight fit

any vegetas will work. but this goku body is particularly first appear in cell saga if i'm not mistaken, so i think any vegeta ss 2.0 will do nicely 😁
