Absolutely spot on review in my opinion after my recent 2024 manual transmission Wing purchase. Loved my 2012 but the 2024 is simply a different level than the 2012. The ride is beyond anything I have ever experienced on a motorcycle. I could not be more pleased with my purchase, and your words of wisdom on “not waiting at this stage in life”, is the reason I bought the Bike. Best decision I have made in a long, long time. Thank you ! Amazing ride!
I am 76yrs old, have owned 28-motorcycles. Currently own 4 bikes. Planning on purchasing a Goldwing this week to do long trips. Haven’t decided if I am going with the tour model but plan on getting the manual shift. I like having control of my rpm and shifting. I ride a Hayabusa which is crazy quick and have couple dual sports. Have raced sport bikes on track but looking for something more comfortable for touring. Not as young as I once was.
Improvements needed. Seating comfort, Bluetooth system, info screen needs to be touch screen, top loading saddle bags, horn button improvement, larger windscreen. GPS system is fine for me. I never ever plan a trip for GPS. It’s only used for gas stations, motels, or specific locations for the area I’m in. Just my 2 cents worth, please spend it wisely.😀
I have owned my 2018 DCT airbag for over 5 years and do not think Honda have made enough significant changes to make me consider using up to a later model yet. The larger trunk is not an issue for me and cant really think of any other improvements that would make me think Wow i gotta trade up

I’m able to pick up radio stations well from Houston. I just wish more after market accessories like higher brake lights were included. Very nice review. I’ve passed 50,000 on my 2021 bagger and going for 100,000 unless of course Honda tempts me with something I can’t resist. Keep up the great work.
Good Evening Cruiseman, this is a great video, especially for someone considering buying a Goldwing. The only issue I noticed is at time 18:46 when you are talking about the brakes being Anti-Lock and the text says Analog. This just proves I do pay attention when viewing your productions. The suspension is definitely under-sprung and under-damped, especially for heavy drivers and really bad with a pillion aboard. I will accept the bike technology is getting long in the tooth, but I do wish it had Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Monitoring, a saddle deserving of this long hauler, center glove compartment lock, center glove compartment ventilation, right cubby needs a manual override a more reliable Apple Play and finally Honda engine builders would set the correct valve train gaps on the cylinders 1-3-5. If Honda does incorporate these systems, we will be looking at a bike with a price exceeding $35K. Thanks again for sharing your Goldwing experience with us.
I was considering getting a 2024 but after watching this review, you examined so many good points, I have opted to hold off until these short comings are addressed by Honda. The TFT screen, the parking brake, the non-lockable cubby, no adaptive cruise
My wife and I hit a deer in August. We are looking at the airbag model. We have never owned such a large motorcycle, and I've never been attracted to large touring motorcycles. Despite this, the airbag model is highly attractive to us after being badly injured in the collision with the deer. Nice review.
I think most buy a wing for dependably, cost, styling but a radio or gps is not the top of a true riders list. Yes it needs the same seat that was on the 08.
Bad radio reception: I don’t believe it is the antenna location as I tested with an external one with no difference. I believe bad reception is due to unshielded wires but that’s just my opinion.
Great video, I've bought a 2023 model in Pearl White. Its an ex-demo bike (5 months old) but still on demo for another 20 days, so I can't wait to get my hands on it.
Hello… been watching and following your adventures. Between you, GoldRyderOne, Chris Caliente and others…. Got the itch for the newer wing. So, I pulled the trigger on a 2018 Snowee (named mine; Prince, as wifey’s X5 is named Princess, both white in color!) for myself just last Wednesday, July 30 2024. Traded my 2nd 128k Goldwing (2008) I had for last 6 years in black for a nicely set up Beautiful Pearl White 2018 DCT Tour from a dealer in Madison South Dakota. Just above Sioux Falls. Rode mine 600 miles from the Chicago area … did the deal and rode back on the new bike. Wow. What a sore butt adventure! Did not figure out CarPlay until I got back home! Was a setting I changed from iPod to CarPlay then Bingo! Yes. I did buy a new white helmet with a Cardo built in too ~ few days before. But the Honda GPS did the job just fine. Got compliments at fuel stops. Lot of folks heading to Sturgis that week. Mine had lots of GoldStrike LED trunk lights, license plate filler lights, plate light, a CB, highway pegs, tie down supports, wired ports for cabled helmets with a Bluetooth gadget in the phone compartment and I believe the original seat was removed and professionally stuffed with a gel pad or something as it is not flat like other stock seats. Mine is more puffed and rounded. Oh, yes the storage is much smaller... knew that going into this model. But, since I ride by myself, not much of a hassle ...yet!!! Next day at home I went to a dealer near me and added a GoldStrike BigAss cup holder and a brake pad cover for a larger target down there. I used to have floor boards on old bike… but ok with stock pegs on this one. Seems easier to flat foot at stops. Stock windscreen is OK but might get F4 eventually. Had 42100 miles on it and already put about 1000 on it already. What better way to get used to it, buy it and immediately set off for home on the Interstate for 600 miles! I am 5’10’ and 66 years old. So this DCT is very interesting. Still reaching for the clutch at odd times! Plus the bike is a bit more bouncy than the 08 but does not bother me. Smooth on good roads. Certain local roads has 'wavy' pavement and that is where it bounces a lot! One thing from Honda I would like to see is when I am in CarPlay (Waze for example) is for the INFO button to keep its information on the screen so if I am listening to the radio - see what station I am on and band. Or the other info I scroll through. Now, after a week of ownership - kind of stopped reaching for a clutch. I also like to keep it around town in ECON mode, Smoother throttle response. The front end is nice with its new suspension. Very easy to flatfoot it around in neutral, like out of the garage. Bike does seem smaller from my perspective in the seat while riding, handling like a dream and i feel somehow safer as I can control it better. So happy with it. Got it for a good price… can’t complain. glad your 2024 is coming along. Cheers.
I own a 2018 Non-Tour Canadian Model. We did not get SiriusXM as an option until I believe 2020 models. I guess they (Honda) didn't think we use Sirius XM? Non-Tour seat is not heated and much softer without the heat pad present. Love my Pearl Stallion Brown Wing.
In June I went on a 2100-mile road trip on my 2021 DCT Tour and averaged 40 mpg (a lot of those miles were on the interstate with an 80 mph speed limit). Your review is spot-on. For a comfortable long-distance road trip, I recommend an F4 Custom windshield, highway pegs, an Ultimate Seat, and EarPeace Moto PRO earplugs.
Amazing...to spend over $38K here for a new Goldwing and then have to buy a new windshield, new seat, highway pegs? Really? Not going to happen. This should all be standard with the bike.
@@Supernaut2000 I agree that you shouldn't have to buy anything that would make it much better long-distance touring motorcycle. By the way I purchased my 2021 Goldwing DCT Tour new for 28k.
@@howierides I wish we could buy Goldwings at the prices you can in the USA (new or used)! Until then, for 3 months riding season, my 2003 does the trick!
You Guys in America don’t get the silver tour colour option for 2024? That’s interesting it’s covered in chrome would Have thought that would have been more suited to USA.
Great video Cruiseman. I’m on the fence between a Goldwing or a K1600. Both bikes are great. I am leaning towards a Goldwing just for the DCT and larger service network.
I have the same bike except mine is a manual. Up from a 2016 F6B in Flat Pearl White. Love both bikes! Thanks for the review! It reinforced my decision.
I actually like the seat. Initial feel is bad as you think it's hard as a rock but as you ride for length it doesn't get uncomfortable like the soft pillowy seats.
I appreciate your video and the time and effort you put into your reviews. I agree with the bluetooth system and that it's SO last decade. I myself was considering a 2024 for an upgrade from my 2016, but right off the bat, the color selection was very slim and unappealing. If the technology is not updated into this decade, I'll pass again for another model year. Thanks Cruiseman!!
Thanks for another great video and review, Chris. I enjoyed watching because, I did the exact same thing you did. Upgraded from my 2018 DCT Tour model to the 2024 DCT Tour model. My transaction was back in February. You provided Honda with an absolute perfect planning guide they can use to produce that next gen model. I'll predict they will pay good attention to your suggestions. Two final things I will mention...my 2024 does shift a little smoother than the 2018. And I'm in alignment with you, Chris. 4.7 indeed!
One of better videos Chris ,next purchase as get over my incredible late mid life crisis,BMW 1600 GTL ,is wing DCT,Chris Hurst Texas ,one of these days I’ll come over to awake on Sunday morning join you guys for breakfast, regards Chris Hurst Tx🇬🇧
Great video Cruise. And thank you for your personal response to my merch order. Will you remind me of the dealership that had the great deal on the extended warranty...
I'm not able to afford a GW, but if I win the lottery or learn to trade in the stock markets it could be in MY garage. I do wish that Honda would bring the NT1100 to the US. It has the Africa Twin engine tuned for the street. It also comes with 3pc Shad luggage and soft tote bags inside. It's like a baby GW at 1/2 the cost!! Bravo on ur new GW...
Hi Cruise. I Normally fine your videos very informative and this one was. I Owen a white 2018 like you traded in so I wanted to see what you would say in the comparison of the 2. I really did see the direct comparison of the 2 but more of a review of the 2024. It was good and very informative. Did I miss something or can you do a more direct comparison of the to like Thanks and continue to put out the high quality videos you do.
After watching your video, im keeping my 2018 for time being. I hope honda makes improvements in the future. The bigger trunk is a plus but the saddlebags need to be bigger and a total redesign. The radio is a joke along with navigation. Both totally useless. Wind protection also needs to be improved and for me if the seat could be moved back just one inch. Im ok with the current seat but my 1986 goldwing seat is more comfortable. I could add more but ill stop.
I have a 2018 and love the bike. I might upgrade to a new model if they update some of the things you talked about. Plus if they had more color options. I love my blue baby.....
I believe if I was a Goldwing connoisseur I would have waited a few more months and bought the 50 th anniversary 2025 model. For a UA-camr that would have been a major must purchase. Maybe the channel wasn’t aware of the anniversary, kinda a screw up for anyone trying to educate people on Goldwings, non the less glad to see channels on such an awesome bike.
You answered the question. Nearly everything you describe is the same for both years, so trading my 2018 white DCT Tour for a 2024 white (although with a lot black, which I think looks ugly) DCT Tour is a supreme waste of money. But someone who is a slave to consumerism and eternal debt will make the trade anyway.
@@cruisemansgarage You touched on fuel cost, a little on repairs, but not into detail. It might be boring for some but I am curious what the difference of driving say a Road Glide or any other brand compared to a Goldwing for 100K miles. Parts Availability, Parts cost even tires, Service centers etc. If you're buying the bike for touring all those small details become huge. Hope this answers your question.
Why can’t they use an electric parking brake like most cars have? Wire it so it only works with the ignition on. Major problem with the current brake is it’s way too easy to disengage it. Can’t imagine it would add more than a pound or two once you remove the mechanical brake and pads.
Afternoon Cruiseman! Two Indian bikes here; 16 Scout and 18 RoadMaster. RoadMaster is awesome & other than frequent clutch cable snaps, pretty reliable; however, have been considering trade option for a Goldwing. That reverse and DCT is if interest. Any news on 2025 Goldwings?
Trading your 2018 depends on how confident you are with bike after truck crashed backing into you! Second: what deal in trade did dealer give you for 2018? How much did you get hammered on 2024 bike deal?
I could never get comfortable on my 18. Riders triangle is too compact and I couldn’t stretch out around the motor. Wind management wasn’t impressive either for a touring bike. The Hartco custom seat and F4 shield helped but not enough to stay on the wing. My Harley was easy to customize to fit my ergos, expensive to get more power and better suspension. That’s my 2up touring bike now while my GS1300 is my absolute favorite do anything including tour solo machine.
I have a 2018 DCT outfitted to perfection. I would consider a new Goldwing, but that infotainment system is a POS. If they update that, I'm buying. I also own a 2024 K1600GTL. It is not hard to maintain for the most part. It helps if you speak German... I do use the K1600GTL for my daily driver and the Goldwing for long trips, taking my wife, or pulling the camper. It's simply the better tool. The GTL luggage is much, much larger.
Hello sir. Just wanted to ask for you opinion on the 2025 model rollout. After much research and and information provided by other riders including yourself, I've decided a new GW will soon accompany my current bike (FZ-10) as my second motorcycle. I'm just wondering, based on your experience, when do you think the new '25's will be unveiled? I'm anxious to see if there will be any changes other than colors for the 50th anniversary. I'm hoping to see an upgraded dash/display and or active cruise control. Either of those updates will certainly have me in the market for a 2025 over a 2024. Any input you have is much appreciated!
I have a 2022 DCT. I like the bike, but it does have some shortcomings that, at this price point, and considering the competition, Honda committed an unforced error. The Goldwing is considered the standard bearer, king of the road, but some other bikes are catching up. The infotainment system is like you said, "come on"? Why would Honda scrimp on that? Maintenance is a nightmare in most instances. Even an oil change is more complicated than most. And don't get me started on changing an air filter. Sheesh! And with the new ECM flash available, we all know there is a lot more power to be easily had to keep it competitive. Also, Honda keeps gangling carrots out there about upcoming upgrades they may happen. Like a 2 liter motor, connectivity/infotainment system improvements, new body styling, and adaptive cruise control. All of which I'm waiting for before I consider a trade-in. Thanks Chris.
Good luck! Found the same and thus why I’m now on a Harley. Couldn’t be happier…I think.😂 Plus, at 6 1, sitting on a GW, the bars are sooooo low. I’ll do 600 mile days on my bike in complete comfort . Have to believe my shoulders being hunched over on a GW for that long would be an issue. To each their own though.
You can probably pick up a low mileage 2018 at a decent price, so the additional cost might not be worth it for the 2024. But, if you are buying a 2024, it is still a good value, especially if you buy from a dealer like Southern Honda where you can save thousands.
I owned 2018 Manual Tour, for me not worth to change. 95% the same bike except bigger topbox.I will change when they upgrade engine and new model.I enjoyed K1600GT because I love the power and top speed 250 km/hr of K1600GT (Goldwing 190 km/hr only)
Keyless ignition? If the fob fell out of your pocket whilst riding, how far would you get before the thing shuts itself down, or will it keep going until you turn it off?
Cruiseman have you looked at BT-moto’s flash tuner for the Goldwing? I was watching some of his videos and it seems to be pretty solid. (Edit, I found your Video on it with Tom! Haha! You have so many!)
Financially , You might have thought about waiting for a new updated model. Looks just like a 2018. I have popped a wheelie on my 2020 Goldwing in sport mode. Unlike you, I put around 20,000 miles a year on my Goldwing in a stable of 7 motorcycles. Ride safe.
I may be interested in that Chinese Goldwing knockoff Solos 2,000 CC monster?! But reality says probably an Indian Pursuit in a few years when there are good used ones on the market.
Thanks for sharing Cruiseman, can you advise on this, I have a 24 GW Tour DCT, when engaging reverse the reverse gear and rolling forward sometimes lacks power, is there a way to adjust it or think it is a problem with my GW? Sometimes it will reverse at a nice speed other times it feels as if it just doesn’t want to get the job done, and have tested it on a flat surface in the garage, thanks mate, All the way from Australia
I can tell you exactly. With the videos from Cruiseman, it takes 4 hours if you have the right tools at your hand. But as Max from Traxxion already mentioned, don't replace your Airfilter as to the Honda recommendation. Every 50.000 miles is enough unless you're driving in very rainy or dusty environment. Honestly, it is a pain in the ass to replace the filter. I did it on my Airbag Model once and I won't do it again.
50,000 miles on a Goldwing air filter is way too much imo, I waited till 30,000 miles and mine was filthy , I will do at half that now .. yes it’s a pain , but not the end of the world
A question off topic. First, really enjoy your videos. Been thinking of getting a a Garman Zumo XT or the new XT2. Would appreciate your opinion on which to get. Understand the2 screen is slightly bigger and brighter. My iPhone just can’t be seen on warm Florida day trips. Thanks in advance for your suggestions. God bless Ray Johnson.
Re Nav/tech; IMO simply having Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is all that is required. A cubby with a USB-C to store and tether a phone is all that I would ever want. Then the motorcycle OEM would only have to supply a nice looking, large, and bright screen leaving out AM/FM, and GPS. Also, touring riders tend to use helmet speakers and not the onboard speakers. A delete option would be welcome. No radio, no amplifier, no speakers and their magnets, no GPS receiver and all the associated wiring would save a lot of weight. Time for e-suspension on this motorcycle.
Excellent script. Excellent delivery. Most professional, intelligent youtuber out there. My recommends on GW going forward. 1. Cut 50 pounds of weight, with lighter weight materials, more clever engineering by those smart mechanical design engineers. 2 Industry leading infotainment, navigation, screen. 3. Better, softer seating. 3. Increase engine compression probably to about 11.5: 1 or so, to get more horsepower / torque. 4. Wider / taller wind screen. Basically my list above follows what CG said in the video, give or take.
Interesting but I don't see any reason to sell my 2003. Most important reason: $38K here (plus taxes) for a motorcycle! Ain't gonna happen with 3 months riding season here.
Parking brake same model from 4 yrs ago although you know they wear out easy, the antenna still doesn't pickup AM/FM well, Bluetooth 5.0 with quick reliable connections has been available for half a decade, yet it sounds like we passed on that. Seats don't resist scuffing on a bike designed to resist tossing a leg around the back. Old version of traction control. Dirty installed dash protector creating warranty repairs, how do they not know? Dude! when you're going for a BS degree or making dirt-bikes you can "phone it in". At the Master's lever asking for the biggest pot of money on your "flagship" wannabe, you need to hire some engineers AND listen to them. Adaptive Cruise does not belong in the list of "called-in" items because many don't trust it. If they add that is should be a cost option so we don't have to pay for it. It also should be easy to turn it off and not turn itself back on till the rider does it. I'm split on seat comfort, many buyers don't like to pay more for better seats. Maybe a well advertised cost option for upgrade might help.
More a self promotional and product review video than a comprehensive comparison of the 2018 vs 2024. I have a 2018 and learned nothing from this video. I saw no real comparison, or anything that compared the two years at all. Essentially a misleading video and a waste of time. If you are going to talk about whether it's worth trading up, at least be specific, otherwise it's clickbait and I will be less inclined to view your vidoes in the future.
Tim, he did mention the trunk is bigger (a big selling point for many), the colors are different, and the DCT shifts smoother. If you were looking for massive differences well, thank you Honda, there are just not very many. That is the comparison. Maybe we will see some big changes with the anniversary edition in 2025.
@@robertwhitemoto The problem is it's a video typical of the spammy junk self proclaimed "influencers" spew on the internet. with your video about the Indian, I traded in my 2018 Gold wing on a new Indian persuit. i do miss the reverse. but for me it is a lot more comfortable to ride even with a stock seat. i feel like it has more power as well. i dont understand why you call the fit and finish so good on the GW its all plastic like most other bikes. i would argue that the indian attention to detail and fit and finish is better. also why did you get another GW with all the complains about the infotainment system? is it because you are getting endorsements from venders who support the GW? seems like you really liked the Indian.

I'm convinced, trading my 2019 for a new 2025 in a few months. Thanks for the straight forward detailed review.
Cheers.
Theres all you need to know if you are thinking about getting one. Excellent summary.
Thanks. Great review. Spot on.
Although, my new '23 had a number of fitment issues with plastics and missing screws and snaps.
Great info! We just bought a 2024 pearl white GW. Love it! Looking forward to learning more in your videos.
I actually like the seat. Initial feel is bad as you think it's hard as a rock but as you ride for length it doesn't get uncomfortable like the soft pillowy seats.
Spent the day on a 2018 Gold Wing and I must say it was fantastic! Storage was minimal compared to my Cross Country Tour . My only deal breaker!
Thank you Chris for this Wonderfull review. I still love my 2022 Goldwing Bagger. You have a wonderful day!
4.7 indeed!
Thanks Mark. Love that new FJR in your garage.
Blue Ridge Powersports
@@cruisemansgarage saved me just about $1,000.
Wingsoft can move you back an inch by modifying your existing seat.
I have a 2018 and love the bike. I might upgrade to a new model if they update some of the things you talked about. Plus if they had more color options. I love my blue baby.....
Thanks for the thorough review! I really enjoy your content.👍🏼👍🏼
Very detailed review... thank you, Cruiseman!
Very informative as always. I do wish you went into more detail about the cost of ownership.
Such as? I may do a follow up video.
Could be wrong, but I thought I read that Honda was looking to making "significant" changes for the 2025? If so? Would you have waited?
Love the review. Happy to here the manuals are still available.
Why can’t they use an electric parking brake like most cars have? Wire it so it only works with the ignition on. Major problem with the current brake is it’s way too easy to disengage it. Can’t imagine it would add more than a pound or two once you remove the mechanical brake and pads.
An electric parking brake would be great!
A wealth of information! Gotta visit Southern Honda in TN !
Thanks again Cruiseman
Afternoon Cruiseman! Two Indian bikes here; 16 Scout and 18 RoadMaster. RoadMaster is awesome & other than frequent clutch cable snaps, pretty reliable; however, have been considering trade option for a Goldwing. That reverse and DCT is if interest. Any news on 2025 Goldwings?
Thank you for this Video ❗Very good. 👍Greetings from Germany 🙂
Thank you too!
I much prefer the 2024 model over my 2018. DCT is better. Loads more storage. Both great bikes however !
We usually hear something about the new models in late October/early November.
There’s no reason Goldwings Screen isn’t touch and on par with Indians Screen..
That would require an entirely different design since the dash is so far away from the rider on the Goldwing.
Been trying to test ride DCT model. Can't find a dealer who does test rides.
Good luck! Found the same and thus why I’m now on a Harley.
Couldn’t be happier…I think.😂
Plus, at 6 1, sitting on a GW, the bars are sooooo low. I’ll do 600 mile days on my bike in complete comfort .
Have to believe my shoulders being hunched over on a GW for that long would be an issue.
To each their own though.
Thank you !
So is the 2024 better than the 2018-worth the purchase vs any upgrades- or is the 2024 worth it because the value for what you get is good?
You can probably pick up a low mileage 2018 at a decent price, so the additional cost might not be worth it for the 2024. But, if you are buying a 2024, it is still a good value, especially if you buy from a dealer like Southern Honda where you can save thousands.
please help. My 2021 Goldwing, going into reverse, how can I speed the reverse up? Sometimes it’s v v sliw sometimes it’s faster.
I owned 2018 Manual Tour, for me not worth to change. 95% the same bike except bigger topbox.I will change when they upgrade engine and new model.I enjoyed K1600GT because I love the power and top speed 250 km/hr of K1600GT (Goldwing 190 km/hr only)
Fair enough!
@@cruisemansgarage Furthermore the Goldwing price in my country USD53k.Almost doubled the price in the US.
Ride safe.
I used to put that many miles on mine. Much less now.
@@cruisemansgarage You can't outride father time!
"You don't get yesterday back & can't buy a minute!"
I may be interested in that Chinese Goldwing knockoff Solos 2,000 CC monster?! But reality says probably an Indian Pursuit in a few years when there are good used ones on the market.
Can a person ride a Honda goldwing with a 28 inseam.
Would I be on my tippy toes?
97,9 hp? Is this correct? European version of the Goldwing delivers 126 hp.
Seems amazing reviewing a motorcycles that could potentially be around for decades. With a list of owners and stories.
I started my motorcycle journey with garage built choppers... Now I'm visiting the other end of the spectrum.
I always thought that you could put or take away passenger seat.
Like if you were traveling solo you could take it out
Nope, it is all one piece. Even on the bagger. There may be solo aftermarket seats.
I’ve see 2018 Goldwings with relatively low miles for sale at right around $10,000 less than a new 2024. Is the new one really $10,000 better?
That will depend on the individual. Most would probably want to save the $10,000.
Cruiseman what brand of GoPro extension are you using
goldwing is a the best for me untill you need to change the air filter quite an adventure going there
Thanks for sharing Cruiseman, can you advise on this, I have a 24 GW Tour DCT, when engaging reverse the reverse gear and rolling forward sometimes lacks power, is there a way to adjust it or think it is a problem with my GW? Sometimes it will reverse at a nice speed other times it feels as if it just doesn’t want to get the job done, and have tested it on a flat surface in the garage, thanks mate,
All the way from Australia
I have a 2022 and the reverse is broken. Having some problems with Honda. There are alot of them. There should be a recall.
And how many hours does it take to replace the air filter on the Goldwing?
I can tell you exactly. With the videos from Cruiseman, it takes 4 hours if you have the right tools at your hand. But as Max from Traxxion already mentioned, don't replace your Airfilter as to the Honda recommendation. Every 50.000 miles is enough unless you're driving in very rainy or dusty environment. Honestly, it is a pain in the ass to replace the filter. I did it on my Airbag Model once and I won't do it again.
It’s hit or miss with every brand regarding replacing the air filter. Some take hours of labor and some take minutes.
50,000 miles on a Goldwing air filter is way too much imo, I waited till 30,000 miles and mine was filthy , I will do at half that now .. yes it’s a pain , but not the end of the world
My first time took four hours. I have done several now and can do one now in about 2.5 hours.
The hill start assist is crap compared to the bmw k1600
I agree, my experience is it releases far to quickly!
If you prefer the bigger, brighter screen, go for the XT2. The XT is easier to get routes off your computer, IMO.
I just want to say that I have adaptive cruise in my cars and absolutely hate it. I'm glad Honda doesn't have it on the wing.
I'm not a huge fan, but a lot of people seem to want it.
Chris is that a stock windscreen?
No. It is the F4 Customs that was transferred from my 2018.
Still no mention of a
comparison to the 2018...same bike...more money.
Hey Cruz Man the amount that you use for your 360 Camera can you tell me where you get those from and how you set it up
Traxxion.com it is the Axxion Camera Mount.
Have you or are you going to do any changes to the seat on your new Goldwing?
My 2021 Manuel tour gets consistently 50 to 53 mpg
More a self promotional and product review video than a comprehensive comparison of the 2018 vs 2024. I have a 2018 and learned nothing from this video. I saw no real comparison, or anything that compared the two years at all. Essentially a misleading video and a waste of time. If you are going to talk about whether it's worth trading up, at least be specific, otherwise it's clickbait and I will be less inclined to view your vidoes in the future.
He got 500$ from Honda for this video
@felixlechat1780 I did? You obviously don't know how Honda works. And, nobody would put this much work into a video for a measly $500.
If it was labeled as a review of the 2024 Goldwing (which it was) I'm ok with that. It was dishonest in it's intent and presentation. Starting out with "I traded my 2018 for a 2024 blah, blah. Then promoting his "sponsors" and then launching into a tedious review of the 2024 Goldwing. Then wrapping up with was it worth it? ABSOLUTLY! No reason why, just wierd.

with your video about the Indian, I traded in my 2018 Gold wing on a new Indian persuit. i do miss the reverse. but for me it is a lot more comfortable to ride even with a stock seat. i feel like it has more power as well. i dont understand why you call the fit and finish so good on the GW its all plastic like most other bikes. i would argue that the indian attention to detail and fit and finish is better. also why did you get another GW with all the complains about the infotainment system? is it because you are getting endorsements from venders who support the GW? seems like you really liked the Indian.
