Leonard Snart is my favorite recurring character because he always has the best Snarky comebacks. He is actually smart and honors his promises
Idk what his character is like in the comics, but his dialogue in the show feels to me the most like comic book lines, and I love him for it. It's like he's embracing the cornyness of the source material in the best way

@@blakeverdon4492 They have similarities, but also some pretty notable differences. He's a little less eccentric his with his wit for starters. Comic Cold is more dry in his delivery. The closest character I can compare him to right off the dome is Moon Knight. Equal parts serious and intimidating, equal parts sarcastic and witty.

With the whole argument of if Barry should focus on catching the man in yellow or helping the city, I think the city comes first. Yes Barry has a very personal relationship with Reverse-Flash and this is the first time in a decade and a half that he’s been this close to catching him, but I think one of the biggest tests of a hero is putting the safety of innocents above a heroes own personal wants. Capturing the Reverse-Flash will undoubtedly save some lives, but think of how many will get hurt or die if he ignores the city, all the criminals, the accidents, the Metas, all will get way worse if Barry stops helping just so he can focus on getting revenge.

To be fair, they didn't know what kind of threat the Reverse Flash is at this point in time, with his speed he literally could murder thousands of people in a few minutes and Barry wouldn't be fast enough to stop him with his current speed, so it's understandable that despite it being kind of the wrong decision, they wanna prioritize him for the potential catastrophe that can happen within a short amount of time, literally a worst case scenario on what one evil speedster can do.
Although I do get it that he's not being himself if he ignores the city to focus on his own problems.
And it’s also important to remember that this Barry is not the hero yet he’s still growing into the hero that we can recognise. He’s not gonna have all his priorities straight and all knowing right at the beginning he’s got to make a bunch of mistakes to learn from them

The reason why Wells has red lightning streaks when he runs is because he has red colored lightning, and Barry has orange colored lightning. So Wells is still the Reverse-Flash.

I think you're a bit confused. Barry wears a red suit but has yellow lightning so normal people just see a yellow blur while Wells wears a yellow suit and has red lightning so people see a red blur.
Barry has orange lightning, plus either way y'all don't need to explain this stuff to him cause he's nearly done with this first season on Patreon he obviously knows now.

You definitely confused, red lighting is wells meaning reverse flash, yellow/orange lightning is barry or the flash. Wells has always been reverse he wasnt a good flash
You gotta also realize that these experiences, Saving people, battling these villains gives Barry more experience and also in vice versa help progress his speed. Look at what happened when Iris was captured by Girder he created the Super Sonic Punch.

Basically the reason he doesn't just like go super fast and stop villains in like a second is because the flash is too powered and if he did that the show wouldn't exist even the comics he can go faster than light and he still gets beat by Captain cold but there is kind of an explanation to why he gets hit so much he basically goes so fast that everything around him is so slow so he literally has to slow down his brain so he can process things at the speed of a normal person or else 1 second feels like centuries so that's why he gets hit because he's slowing down his thinking
basically he needs to lower his thinking speed down so he can actually process stuff. if he didn't do so, he would probably be standing there, unable to process anything
In season 4 when we see flash time .. lol it shows us they definitely Nerf The flash. He can easily destroy all these villains in less than .01 of a microsecond 😂

i think that he can still be amping up his speed, but there's also the combat experience that comes from fighting crime. there's also that the reverse flash at that point in time is nowhere to be seen and hasn't appeared to be doing anything right now, but captain cold does appear to be doing some evil so focusing on him for the city is best.

The colored lightning in the comics represented their connection to the speed force there's a few colors the flash has a yellow orange lightning trail, the reverse flash has red even without their suits

In the comics the colors of speed have different meanings yellow/orange is your connection to the speed force and it’s also your slowest color red is negative speed force connection faster color also there’s green but only inertia has it and there’s blue which means you’ve been connected to the speed force along time and you’re really fast and white means you have a pure connection to the speed force
