Btw, in the manga, roshi used a really weak version of UI.
He managed to fight jiren without getting completely overwhelmed.
Crazy how he goes from being caught off guard by a 12-year old Chi-Chi to being able to dodge blows from Jiren off all people.
That was not a version of UI but a similar thing and he did nothing to Jiren who said he was holding back to not kill the old man
that wasnt ui, it was his own technique.

If you go back to when goku first fought beerus there was a moment where goku was going in for an attack while SSJ3 and his body retreated and goku thinks to himself surprised "its like my feet moved on their own" and beerus says immediately that he was about to attack so it was smart of goku to avoid...way back then they teased us with ultra instinct...so it was a matter of how and time that goku would reach this level.
a sign of ui was also when goku dodged bulmas punch (bro its a joke💀☠)

The aura of the forms is actually an overflow of energy. When he first obtained Blue, he was in a constant state of that, which drained energy. Whis trained Goku and Vegeta so that they wouldnt waste as much energy, which is why it looks so bland
That also could explain why jiren rarely ever used his aura.
Honestly it’s just a design choice they tried to make an excuse for. Even when Goku first got it or even normal SSJ the aura faded away unless he actively powered up

Ultra instinct was really the best thing to happen to dragonball since super saiyan. I remember the first time whis said he's in uncharted territory and the music started playing... total goosebumps
This initial battle in 109 is my favorite part of this special. The way Goku and Jiren get either flung or jump all across the arena, even past fighters, is so frantic and amazing. Really shows off the speed of these universal combatants.
Also, Ribrianne’s dramatic roll into Jiren and then her immediately running away from him right before his battle gets me every time

Don't get me wrong, i love Ultra Instinct on the Anime, I just never liked how it was achieved, especially in comparison with the Manga where Master Roshi explained how he and all the other masters were steering goku towards moving with precision without mistake where you move without needing to think (basically The Zone in sports/gaming terms), then proceeded to go against Jiren without getting hit for a few moments in front of Goku.
"He is now in Uncharted Territory." That scene does so hard.

Fun fact, the reason he doesn't do God Kaioken (as badass as it would be) is because Blue's energy control is really fine compared to God which is kind of wild. Most transformations dont have the energy control necessary to *safely* use Kaioken.

The lack of aura around the person IS a sign of mastery. The aura is a leaking of energy, so when character has no aura, they have perfect control of their energy, so none of it leaks out.

You know what’s crazy about no one hasn’t know about Piccolo can be able to sense God Ki because when they first encountered him they can’t sense his ki but Dende is the only one who has to sense his ki.

Only one Destroyer was confirmed to have ultra instinct, it's beerus but it's a very basic form of it.

when it comes to ssj3 it’s not like he didn’t master it, he did but that form was unlocked and mastered when he was dead
because it was optimized for his dead body that doesn’t lose stamina when he does it in his actual physical body it drains a lot
TLDR, mastered it while dead and didn’t optimize the energy drain of it so it’s only good in short bursts

Some GODS OF Destruction have not even mastered the ultra instinct, while the angels like wiss use it all the time, that’s why goku and vegeta can never it wiss when he trains them

This is to what i know the only anime episodes that literately broke the internet .. All streaming sites legal as illegal went down due to the load, not even UA-cam worked. It was first like 4 hours after release i got to watch it. And not Luffy gear 5 didnt even come close to this.

The anime did some very bad decisions powerscaling wise
Dragonball in general has some problems but since the anime was a bit faster than the manga at that time they did stuff differently
In the anime it might seem like Goku has surpassed beerus at the end of the tournament even though that is clearly not the case
So from the anime’s perspective Goku is close to beerus or has surpassed him but that will be changed since the manga shows us that Goku is still way below beerus
Even after 3 arcs of constant training and improvements
Goku as well as vegeta are around low destroyer level after the tournament
We don’t really know how strong the destroyers are exactly but beerus is probably the strongest
But being able to defeat some destroyers doesn’t really mean anything
Some are rather weak and others are really strong

He mastered all his forms but 3 takes up alot of energy because its raw and unstable power. Blue drains up alot of ki but he can control how much he puts out since its a god form
Jiren's so strong that he got gojo's infinity
One of the best episodes of SUPER, but in regards to the spirit bomb from my understanding it will kill any evil being but the sheer impact of it's energy still affects others therefore it was a good move to beat Jiren but not kill him.

Goku Mastered SSJ3....It just consumes a butt load of energy to maintain it. So it's great for short fights but not great if your opponent is close to your power. Vegeta refuses to use it because of it's limitation and believes SSJ 2 to be superior overall.
Super saiyan is roughly 50x base power.
Super saiyan 2 is 2x super saiyan.
Ssj3 is 4x super saiyan 2.
God form is approximately 3200x base form
Blue is 50x god form

Nah the Spirit Bomb literally can hurt anybody . Its a big ass ball of energy . Of course it'll hurt anybody . Its just the Spirit Bomb tracks evil energy better . Also nah the Spirit Bomb they used against Buu was only energy from the Earth when they brought everyone back to life but this Spirit Bomb is bigger because of the 10 fighters, minus Vegeta, are wayyyyyyyy stronger now than they were back then . Also the Spirit bomb was getting pushed from both sides of Jiren . The force of both of them pushing it together basically made it force into a single point to which when Goku fell into it and made contact with it, it exploded and could've killed him but Whis basically explains why it didnt kill him . One more thing damn near all the G.O.D's get trained by their Angels to reach UI . Goku is just the first MORTAL to be able to be in it for a long time but most of the G.O.D'S are still stronger than Jiren and Goku . Beerus being #1 . To me at least .

You see Super Saiyan 3 is just too inefficient when it comes to how it drains your energy. It worked better when Goku was dead because his body wasn't mortal anymore so he had less energy limitations. But when he used it against Kid Buu it wore him out way too quickly and he couldn't power up again. Goku could never quite fix that energy regulation problem. The god forms are a different story because of how different god ki is and how it can be regulated. It's why he is able to mix in kaioken more easily.

Just in case your didn’t see my first comment SSJ = Super Saiyan.
Let me put it simply SSJ3 consumes to much energy, SSJGod and Blue uses a different type of energy (Divine) which is why most people can’t sense Goku and Vageta in god or blue.
Even though SSJ3 is weaker then God or Blue it still burns to much energy in comparison.
Also note:
1. Vageta never bothered to learn SSJ3
2. To turn God or blue they have to power down then transform
3. Divine energy can only be sense by divine entities or those that can manipulate that type of energy.
Point is divine ki and regular ki are different type of energy and SSJ transformations consume ki. Just because a transformation is stronger does not mean it consumes more energy.
Lastly:
SSJ - SSJ3 are evolutionarily were as God and blue are separate transformations independent of the others, STOP looking at GOD and BLUE as the next level up and view it as its OWN TRANSFORMATION!
