- Piers Morgan invites vegan protester and Animal Rebellion activist Nathan McGovern, along with celebrity chef Aldo Zilli, onto Piers Morgan Uncensored to debate the recent vegan protests occurring in steak and meat restaurants.
Piers asks Nathan why vegan activists are spoiling people's nights out and experiences in restaurants with these protests, as Nathan explains that due to advances in technology, production companies should be using precision fermentation machines that can create meat and food products using a fraction of the land and without the 'exploitation of animals'.
Piers then orders a couple of steaks for Aldo and himself to eat and enjoy as the Vegan protester watches on.

Listen my sister is Vegan and she says " hey I ate Meat for 40 years I am not gonna say - you can't eat that - you eat what you want " and then we have my cousin who Veganist and says " you have to eat this and don't eat meat we don't eat meat. And we don't like you because you eat meat, if you are with us you eat like us " and trust me I will eat what is being served. But if can choose myself I rather eat Spareribs and Other Meats from the bbq or grill, then eat mushy chickpeas and other weird things. So respect for you being vegan, just let me enjoy my piece of meat 🍖
It's good that you respect someone for being a vegan. For me, that's a good start. If you ever change your mind about eating meat, it needs to be your choice. Ppl can tell you things that might resonate, but ive never know anyone to change their eating habits under duress. Better to just inform.
I've known vegans and vegetarians who have gone from eating meat, to stopping, either by choice or by a medical condition. Of the latter, 3 unrelated folks developed an intolerance similar to alpha-gal allergy, but weren't bitten by a Lone Star tick. One had been exposed to ricin, and somehow became deathly allergic to most meats. All could eat chicken and fish, but at times, they chose to avoid them altogether, if possible, as they fear cross-contamination may send them to the ER.
I think that shoulder grab at the end was a fair warning not to mess with that mans restaurant lol

I think what he actually tried to say is that is fine if some people want to eat meat, the vegan movement has so many flaws but in the end is about spreading a message on the meat industry that it is today. Will it be similar to a steak or ground beef? How much will it cost us? I saw a video years ago showing a European lab had grown a steak for $10K. Few can afford to get that as the alternative to farm-raised beef. A 2021 study wrote that beef was $5/lb at the store, and lab-grown cultured meat costs $20±$3 just to produce, ignoring every cost after lab production. There are reports that it pollutes 4 to 25 times more to synthesize these meats than to raise cattle, and the fake meat isn't considered to be heathy or safe to eat, according to the NIH. So those vegan activists should put their efforts into helping researchers resolve those problems with lab meats to be a reasonable alternative.

Ok, I used to be vegan. I grew up on a pig farm and sometimes stud guns don't work. Seeing a pig being brain damaged and stumbling around before it was shot was so distressing I stopped eating animal products. I think that's fair if you're a sensitive teenager. This was one of the WORST decisions I ever made for my health. I got serious gut issues a few years in, anorexia, anaemia - and I was very conscious of my diet. Since I've gone back to eating meat and animal products my health has recovered completely. We can try to invest in the best farming practices and that is all we can do. We're omnivores.

If you do not mind me sharing; a well-planned, organic, unrefined and untempered with vegan diet (consuming raw plant foods where possible so as not to denature or destroy the life-forces and enzymatic activities beneficial to the human system. If disagreeing on this matter, please take some steamed carrots, plant them and see if they will grow; if not, it is because they are 'dead' plant food that cannot benefit one's 'living' cells) consisting of organic fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts, seeds and whole grains is the best diet to provide mankind with ultimate health and longevity.
Regarding the whole protein concern for vegans is exaggerated from gathered information especially that there are 'high protein' plant food sources e.g nuts and legumes; People showing signs of deficiencies e.g those showing signs of anorexia, actually need plant food sources such as starchy carbohydrates that help with weight gain than protein.
I highly encourage being a sceptic, research things for yourself, and you will find out that the diet shared with you is actually for your own good (even if it means making small changes here and there, i would encourage) e.g processed meats are classified as carcinogenic to humans in Group 1, which is as bad as it can get, where as plant foods are classified as anti-cancer foods.
Please avoid factory produced meat alternatives whose chief ingredient can be 'soy' and may contain preservatives as well as additives (e.g vinegar, a corrosive agent). Food toxicity and nutrient deficiency (e.g white bread, white rice and white sugar) are a deadly combination as one is hindering the body's building materials needed to action healing whilst at the same time taxing the system with more toxic stuff, thus bringing about disease and possibly even an early death.

They talk about ecological issues or emergencies yet they use typical normal products like clothes, vehicles, plastics, and other stuff. Those things have been made available to him through lots of processes that involve meat-eating human workers and carbon-emitting machines. Even a teenager can beat them in a debate if the moderator will be strict about strange behaviors like pulling out a sheet of paper and interrupting a supposed to the intelligent discussion.

Although not in agreement with the approach, if you do not mind me sharing; a well-planned, organic, unrefined and untempered with vegan diet (consuming raw plant foods where possible so as not to denature or destroy the life-forces and enzymatic activities beneficial to the human system. If disagreeing on this matter, please take some steamed carrots, plant them and see if they will grow; if not, it is because they are 'dead' plant food that cannot benefit one's 'living' cells) consisting of organic fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts, seeds and whole grains is the best diet to provide mankind with ultimate health and longevity.
Regarding the whole protein concern for vegans is exaggerated from gathered information especially that there are 'high protein' plant food sources e.g nuts and legumes; People showing signs of deficiencies e.g those showing signs of anorexia, actually need plant food sources such as starchy carbohydrates that help with weight gain than protein.
I highly encourage being a sceptic, research things for yourself, and you will find out that the diet shared with you is actually for your own good (even if it means making small changes here and there, i would encourage) e.g processed meats are classified as carcinogenic to humans in Group 1, which is as bad as it can get, where as plant foods are classified as anti-cancer foods.
Please avoid factory produced meat alternatives whose chief ingredient can be 'soy' and may contain preservatives as well as additives (e.g vinegar, a corrosive agent). Food toxicity and nutrient deficiency (e.g white bread, white rice and white sugar) are a deadly combination as one is hindering the body's building materials needed to action healing whilst at the same time taxing the system with more toxic stuff, thus bringing about disease and possibly even an early death.
