I must admit, that when I first saw a 'westerner' trying to teach 'Chinese' martial arts; I thought to myself what a bunch of sheer stuff and nonsense. However, after watching video after video; I have to admit that I find your hard work to be well and truly excellent. Thanks very much for sharing.
I'm not necessarily saying that I would rate you as being a top martial art 'master'; however, I'd certainly say you were pretty damn good in ability; also, your teaching is superb(one hell of a lot better than others I see here on the net); especially so for people who are 'beginners' like myself. Thanks, again; I really appreciate the seriousness with which you approach both teaching/learning; namely, the amount of time and effort you are willing to put in.

Salut, he said leafy greens: collard greens, kale, kohlrabi, maybe beet greens (even maringa [I've never heard of this]), and spinach. He said to pick foods high up on the ANDI (aggregate nutrient density index) scale. I'm sure what ever leafy greens you have in France will work well.

Get the videos/books from Tom Kurz. This video is only saying 1/4 of the story. Also, the kicking they were doing is not better than running for cardio. Kicking is great cardio for kicking. Running is better for fat loss (over 20 min @ 80% of MHR) and cardio (up to 20 min @ 80%of MHR). They are not "moving kicks". The term is dynamic stretching and is used for basic flexibility. Static and isometric stretching are also needed. You want just static stretching, become a gymnast, ballet dancer, or yogi.

I would love to engage my warrior spirit with battle training, Thus far this season has been occupied with improving my knowledge of medicinal and edible food in wild and not so wild places. I have participated in some excellent wild foraging classes. In fact, 4 more sessions and I will have my masters in local foraging!..But I do need to get more physical. I was still a little hesitant, but since my 1 year re-birthday since falling out of the sky I feel sufficiently healed to start rebuilding muscle mass and battle reflexes. Please send the necessary when, where, how much info so I can start planning to learn from you and your mentor.
Maria, I had such a good visit with Jin-bo and Ivy for my physical birthday in March. What a radiant glowing spirit he is.. what a chrysalis state of metamorphosis he is undergoing, what a muse and inspiration my friend is to my grateful life. I passed under a total sky arching rainbow in a storm as I traveled true north in New Mexico. These are but mere road signs in my warrior training path. Thank you for the invitation BTW how is your Jazzy hudband. All well I hope. Ttyl

Thanks. I'm planning to be a MMA-ist (preferably Kickboxing or Muay Thai as my preferred style.) - so kicks are important, and I need flexibility as my kicks have no power if they go above my stomach because I use power to reach my chest. haha.

hey jake I will be incorporating these as well as always great video I did notice even though this is for flexibility should you maintain the defensive hand position I noticed the student is leaving his face open for the entire session all of the kicks my comment is based on preventing the development of a bad habit of putting the hands down when u kick living vital points exposed

How are you almost out of breath after 40 stretch kicks? My school does 120 (6 kicks, all direction types) before we even need to take a moment break... in the beginner classes. Plus, we don't do the lazy versions done here. And we don't make up 'hardcore' names for things.
I wish I could say it's a style difference, but this is just half-assed.
