Hello, I have brand new SRL Mesh in brand new GT Air 2. Helmet is very loud and the volume of SRL is not enough. Biggest problem is that I absolutely do not hear the beeps during ride, so I don't know what I pressed and for how long. Is it possible to radically increase volume of the beeps?
Hi usually SRL2 has enough sound volume and sometimes it is too much. So if you can't hear enough volume, there maybe some issue going on. Please contact SENA Europe or your nearest SENA. Thanks.
Are you sure the helmet is the correct size? If it is too big, the helmet will be louder, because the seal around your face and neck is good enough. The helmet should be really snug. A test of the snugness is, it should be pretty hard to get on and off.
@@scottamolinari yes, i have correct size. what i can say is, that gt air 2 is much much louder than x-lite. specially in higher sppeds, over 100km/h. then is the sound from sena very difficult to hear.
@@ichbinmartin Hi I'm sorry not catching up the topic. Maybe you can try set the sound volume separately. You say you can hear music or the intercom sound with louder sound, right? Then, you can try this: 1. turn off the bluetooth of your smart phone that is connected to your SRL-MESH. (That way it doesn't automatically connect to your SRL-MESH when turned on) 2. Turn on your SRL-MESH. 3. Turn up the volume of the SRL-MESH until you hear beep sound (maximum volume) 4. Check that the beeping sound is loud enough for you. 5. Turn on the bluetooth of your smarphone ( it will automatically connect to your SRL-MESH) 6. Play music on the smart phone.
@@SenaBluetoothJapan Of course, i did it. Shoei GT Air2 is loud over 100 km/h. I think nobody tested the Sena SLR in real traffic on highways and wind. I of course set the loudness as you wrote. Problems are, that: Buttons are too small, often id I want to turn on the music, I turn off whole communicator. Ok, design limits. Beeps are too silent during ride. I can hear voice replies, but for example I cannot hear beeps, so I don't know, how long I pressed the button. Music in headphones is overall silent. I have also basic model 3S (in X-lite 702), this sounds much much better! If somebody calls me, I almost get the heart attack, how loud is the ringing. But then, the volume of call is not so loud and I cannot hear it very well. So I cannot find balance between ringing and calling. Voice commands almost does not work. I forget, on the phone shows me that intercom battery level is 40%, but intercom notices me that battery is low and after few minutes it turns off. I am sure, all of that can be fixed in firmware update. Radically increase the maximum volume for music, radio and calls, and beeps, slightly increase volume of system voice replies, decrease phone ringing to level of system replies. PS: I have set all volumes on my android phone to full (before connection and then after). As I wrote, with 3S it works much better, so I know how to set the combination.
