Thanks for posting this. I'm thinking about getting these for my young kids to train for lateral movement/agility, foot speed, shooting (at real height vs on shoes) and stick handling. It's somewhat important to have the glide/skate function but just the fact that they are in their skates doing this and there's any motion after the foundational movements are trained just seem like added bonuses to me. I'm sure they'll want to mess around and skate and play some pond style tiny games with their friends and have some fun there as well, not to mention I could save my now scratched up wood floors from more brutal shinny games. They're mite and first year squirt level, does this feel like a product that makes sense for me to get to help them in those areas? BTW I can only afford 120 tiles at the very top end of my budget, maybe adding rows here or there as I save up money, and I plan on laying them down in my basement. Doable or am I wasting my time/$ trying to do that with such a small amount?
My 4years old son plays with his in-line skates everyday in the basement, and he mastered the inline skate movement, so that he plays full speed. im thinking about buying the thyperglide from HS. My questions is: will he be able to play full speed again? Doing backward movement, heel to Heel, stop? Thank you
Tyrein - the synthetic ice panels are definitely a step up in durability and performance. However, these are excellent for the price. If you're getting them for kids, or for a smaller area where you don't plan to skate much, these'll be great. If you want peak performance, and you have the budget for it, get the panels.
too many coach jeremys

Can they be flooded and handle a few inches of ice in the winter if left out?
Good question - you might want to contact HockeyShot directly on that. My thought would be no... But I could be wrong
how would you say these compare to the larger, more expensive tiles? is there a significant decrease in performance?
