Hey, who knows. Now, that I've started exploring, the list of cars I'd like to try driving keeps getting longer! Do you drive, Anu? And, most importantly, do you feel that you're diriving the right cars :D?
@@The_Why_Girl I have experience of driving a small tractor and a big tractor. In a van I learned how to drive a motor vehicle. Or, did I start with a tractor? 🤔😆From all my cars Nissan Sunny (-94 year model) with a big motor was my favorite. It was already an old car when I had it. It never let me down in big snow or on a motorway. And I so had fun seeing the surprised looks of sport Audi drivers. No, the Nissan Sunny driver wasn't a fast driving grandpa..."😂 I must say, I also enjoy driving a van, a camper I have never tried. Would love to try a big truck... But for everyday use, well, do I dare to say after all I said earlier... Having a personal driver would be so cool! (Or, at least someone who keeps the tank filled, car clean, etc. and brings the car to my doorstep.)😅😆
My advice would be...really really watch out for rust or you will definitely regret it...and your pocket too...as it happened to me and many people...that's why, a quite old van, will be a risky business, as campervans are sat on car parks and drives only moving few times a year...so they accumulate, damp condensation etc...inside and outside, underneath the van. About size...personal preference, the biggest the better specially if you want a taste of the van life...the crafter you show on the video for me is the perfect size...it could be a bit restrictive if you travel to lots of towns... As you will have to be mindful of the size when it comes to narrow streets and parking...but having that extra space in the cabin definitely pays off any day... And budget wise...for the van I would say anywhere between 10k and 14k...plus the interior...unless it's already converted. I spent 4500£ in an already converted campervan, it was brilliant and I loved it and used it lots...however,it had lots of rust and alternator problems between other things and it cost me many thousands (more than what I paid for it, over the years)to keep it on the road... That's is just my views and advice from experience. But I'm sure many people will have different stories to tell. Rust is something that people keep warning me about but it's also so common :/ Sadly, it's also hard to find a camper/car that's been well looked after. When you were buying your campervan, did you know exactly what you were looking for? If so, HOW?

If I'm honest I didn't think a minute about it...saw two to three, and as I explained to you before...after a hard breakup I just wanted to feel free, so I basically bought the first one that came up on the budget I set for myself...it was absolutely and completely an impulsive purchase 😂😂😂 And I don't regret it...I just wish it lasted longer...but for a low budget I got a lot out of it, enough to get the bug for it...and wanting another one...not as a way of life like the van life but as a way of easy accesible and flexible holidays to discover places otherwise I never would and in a way you cant experience in any other manner... I hope you are well, it's always nice to the see the notification of a reply from you, makes me smile😊...
