I'm gona get one I think but will put some masking tape in centre of grill and same on guard with a pencil diadem line to get it centred...then remove tape
I dont' think there has been any noticeable decrease in bugs hitting windshield. The adhesive underneath the guard does stick well to the hood. Just let the sun bake it on. I do think this hood guard will hold up on your winter up there. Hope the video helped.
I can see how this would happen if you are like me in thinking that reading instructions only slows you down. In this install, I did take to read due to all the crazy tape maneuvers. My wife did notice later that I ended up sticking hood guard on a quarter inch more to one side but she eventually got used to it. Its not coming off. Enjoy, Tom
So is it functional at all? How well are the bugs deflected? Do you think this would hold up in a wet environment with slush and snow in the winter? Thanks for the vid!
I'm looking for a bug/rock deflector for my '12 Rubicon Unlimited. This product looks really nice, has it damaged the paint at all around where it's mounted or come loose at all?
Not at all. It's been about 2 years and nothing is coming loose and paint is perfect. It's not going to come off easy I can tell. Good luck getting yours.

I can't find this deflector anywhere by it self. Apparently there is a national backorder... may have to go with Mopar but don't like
