She let her marry the man she loved, which was, to be perfectly honest, a politically very foolish thing to do. Her marriage brought zero political advantage, while in the middle of the succession war MT should have sought a strong and advantagous political alliance through MA's marriage. But instead she let her sister marry for love, with zero advantage to help her win the war.
