I miss mine! It was a blast to drive!
Just bought my 2nd csrt. Love em. Just dont sounds as good as this one...yet.
Straight pipe is loud, and while I enjoyed the sound, so did the police. I know run the MPX dual exit, and I really like the sound
I loved the caliber srt4 engine, it made lots of power with going big turbo, sidenote those AFRs were a tad strange far as when it spooled they were in the 10s and even at redline only at 11.0.
typeslower The AEM wideband had a bad sensor, i forgot and should have mentioned it in the video.
TalonTSi97 Videos right on! Makes perfect sense now.
387 horses and 2 mice (check floor at 1:30) :P
I saw that hahahaha
badass man!!
What state ate you guys in? Nice video. I have a 08 csrt4.
where can I get a cover like the one that's on this car
What type of fuel? 93 or e85?
Running a little rich
do you still have the car?
Was the original turbo in the Caliber SRT4 swapped out for a more powerful one? I think so.
Says in the video big wheel stock frame turbo. (BWS)
i see boost leak, maybe put a bigger bb turbo?
how long will the pistons and con rods last on that kind of power you reckon?
pistons and rods are not the issue on cali, the sleeves are the weak point.
Yep end up cracking the sleeves
Is this srt sleeved?
Was this on E85 or just 93?
Hey there. I've been trying to do a lot of research with not much luck. With the work you guys have done I feel like you might have an answer. What is the difference between a SRT4 caliber block and a 2008 dodge avenger 2.4l block? from the looks of things they share the same block and it looks like the SRT4 caliber engine would bolt right into a 2008 dodge avenger. If i pulled the engine, wire harness, ecu, and getrag 6speed out of a caliber would i be able to bolt it right in? Does anyone else have insight into this? Thanks.
The caliber srt4 uses the mitsubishi 4b11 engine that was used in the Evo X.
The Neon srt4/Pt Cruiser GT engine Would probably be close to plug and play.
Yes, with mild mods, especially if you have the SRT4 K-frame. You'd have to figure out how to make it all talk to each other in the chassis. Other than that, the 4B12 is just an aluminum version of the 2.4L World Engine, with forged internals. Many higher horsepower builds actually switch to the iron block for durability reasons.
That's a build I'd love to see!
Straight 93oct, NO METH or E85
Would a supercharger be better in the Caliber SRT4 than the turbo?
No
@@talontsi97videos please explain why not
Supercharger takes more power to spin to make the equivalent amount of boost
It could be, if throttle response is more your thing. Turbo is less drag and yields higher hp numbers.
I have a 2007 caliber that I’ve been trying to slowly upgrade to an srt4 as it falls apart. 215k miles and engine is fine.
Don’t waste your money
How is 387whp= 400 like the description states ?
robfrmny21 HP and WHP are 2 different things.
Yes I know the diff
If you were talking about crank hp
He is around 452 crank.
Your wrote the description I'm just trying to interpret it
Can they tune Volvos?
BoostJunk1e lol
Mod list?
Aaron Khan Did you not watch the video? 54 seconds in has a whole list...
Could I make my Dodge Caliber into a srt4?
Come buy this car, I’ll sell it to you…
Craziest part is I own that car now 😝 its absolutely perfect IG:_xburque_gonzalez_
You still have the car
I can’t find you under that tag on ig. Did you change it by any chance???? Coming from a fellow caliber owner with the exact same turbo as you
take that motor out and put it in something better, calibers are garbage and i know because my brother owned one
The base model was garbage yes but the srts had a Mitsubishi sourced engine that made more than the claim hp.
Greg Biunno ohh thanks for the heads up, most places just say it's a Mitsubishi sourced engine so that's what I've been going on lol
