D16 can make some good power if you build them right. There is a street class civic with a d16 turbo running 9.2. speedfactory civic dyno few years back made 800hp on 30psi on 6267 turbo.

unfortunately, its a head gasket eater.... but we had some good times testing the limit with that poor little z6. look out for whats next ☺

Haley Kirk, I had a huge hand in the rebuild of this thing multiple of times. it was my best friends car. I now own this shell and he has a new hatch. this motor is collecting dust now

Yeah alot of desires are known to blow head gaskets , ive never had a problem with mine yet
People rush through a simple job, don't check for the obvious, no knowledge of how to put together a motor, etc... Prime example of poor incompetent install

Is possible to have a turbo that big and not have to run the exhaust through the hood or out the front? Every time I see a big turbo Honda,the exhaust is out the hood or out the front bumper

A lot of turbo lag for sure maybe due to it's a 1.6 liter. Nice setup tho
exhaust side is to big, i have seen turbo d16 engines getting up to over 20psi at 3k rpm
FutureAlloy65, .82 t3 hotside may have been overkill. The 5858 was later swapped for an old school t3/t67.

How many psi you running? That might be it because this was on 19psi I think it said and more coming, so their not done. lol I should retype that but to tired. Props on running a d series man. Peace.
Yeah thanks. I kinda had the same idea for a license plate . I was waiting for tag time .. but I'm on a slow boy racing bastard 20g at 24lbs. Yeah hope to see a retune and more of the car. Im wanting mid 450to 5. Also want kp tuning to do it . Luckly I have 110 fuel 5 Miles away
Josh Elkins Owner has had a lot of bad luck with previous tuners and head gasket issues with the car. He wanted a safe tune to start the season and get some track days out of it before pushing it harder.
