p.s. the black bars at the top and bottom for the first few years are because i used to play in windowed.
p.p.s i wish i could get everything synced perfectly but i don't know if that's physically possible.
p.p.p.s. idk when it happens but eventually i got a 1440p monitor (probably between 2018-2020/when i start playing in fullscreen) so anything after that has been scaled down to fit 1080p.

This really reminds me of Ray's Works video of his 10 year of screenshots excepts his was more about telling what was going on in the screenshot and yours seems to be more about telling a story. Very good video and I liked how it was all synced to the music.

dang, I lost a lot of screenshots, I used to have screenshots dating back to 2012, but they're all gone, anything between 2012-2017 is gone, which really sucks.

love this! It kind of devastates me that I didn't make an effort to back up my screenshots through my many computer resets as you have, and it feels a little like I lost all those memories, even if I know that isn't true.

they'll always be in your memories, which is what's most important! there are so many stories and jokes that were never, or could never, be captured in a simple F2 press.
also i am a bit of a hoarder.

@@batatat exactly that, but that is kind of what makes it so special, the differences in meaning to different people.
Like, to my parents it be would be a collection of pictures of a game they've seen me play a bunch of times,
To me, a collection of glimpses into memories that remind me of memories of my own that have shaped me,
and I imagine to you, as it would if it were mine, a personal archive that connects and recalls memories.
It is special because these memories are yours, and though I could never understand what they mean to you, the glimpses of jokes and stories make me smile because they remind me of the way I smile at the few remaining screenshots I have on old google drive accounts, discord servers, and skype chats.
