Hans is kind of a curiosity live on stage. He just stands there, barely moving, looking like he's unsure if he belongs on a stage, and then he rips these amazing solos. I saw them again on July 7 and Hans just casually walked past me. I and the guys standing near me were too stunned to react, otherwise I'd have a picture of me with him.
I saw them one day before at the Rockharz Festival. They were fucking great as always. But I agree Hans seems out of place sometimes but the next moment he shreds like there is no tomorrow^^ One of my favorite guitar players for sure.

Its so refreshing to find someone who is so open to so many kinds of metal. I love that you just like good music because some of this ive never listened to but now love.
We were building LARP weapons, and because I am good at research, I translated some things for a friend to put on his sword in runes. His sword now has runic insciptions on old norse for wife, farm, and home. 😂

Little fun fact: The leaf you can see at 7:15 is the one thing keeping Siegfried from being entirely invulnerable. The basswood leaf between his shoulders prevents the dragon's blood, in which he bathed after slaying Fafnir, to reach his entire body. That is the spot where Hagen von Tronje, in this case Hans der Aufrechte, hits him with the spear, as portraid in the video right at the end.
I'm always impressed with Feuerschwanz's costumes and a lot of other folk metal bands. I would love to see the process of putting those costumes together.
Saw them earlier this July. Got the ticket on a whim one day before the concert. I was moping and really not in the mood to go anywhere on that weekend. But I did not want to miss the chance when there is a concert that close to me.
So for the ending of the Vid - In the mythology it was said that who bathes in Dragonblodd becomes invulnerable. But sadly as Siegfried did a leaf fell from a tree and came to rest on the back of his shoulder. Unnoticed he bathed in dragonblood, became invulnerable but this small piece of his skin where the leaf was wasnt covered in blood. Later he took a spear (correct me if I am wrong) right in that place and died

I think with the new "setup" of the band (even though it is "just" one guy) after Rollo joining everthing "clicked" into place. Similar to Electric Callboy after Nico joined (different style of music, yes, but I feel like it is very similar if you look at the band synergy. They just work great since then), both bands bring so much fun to people because they are clearly having fun, it is just a joy to listen to them both. But with Feuerschwanz especially, I think Rollo really fits into the band on a personal level. He has this energy and interactions with them that really feels like they are just friends who happen to make (awesome) music. Hans really shines as well since they changed styles a little bit, they have been a bit more "goofy" in the past (which was fun in its own way, I really love that stuff to this day), now they have evolved more in terms of their music while still having fun tunes ect - but the lyrics are more "mature" in comparison, in the past there was alot of innuendo (as said, I still love that stuff, it was so fun in its own way). He is clearly a great musician, it feels like he is a bit less extroverted in comparison to some of the others in the band - which isn`t a bad thing, just an observation. Looking at the two members of the band that are mainly dancer/entertainer on stage, even they bring alot of energy and fun in their own way, and if you look at some videos from them, there is also alot of work connected to that part of the band that is sometimes overlooked. It just works right now, to me they are a unit that works exactly as they are right now, and seem to love to work together and have fun. Similar to EC (as mentioned above), if a band has such a fun vibe and energy together, it feels infectious while listening to their songs for me, I really just vibe and have a great time. Both bands as I said since their respected new rosters felt like they hit the nail with every song release since then, and that is saying alot if you think about it.
Great Reaction Tank, and yeah Hans needs more solo time, bought this album as soon as they released first song, bought it then listened, knew was gonna love it, Feuerschwanz and d'Artagnan are definitely 2 of my favourite german bands

For those who dont know, Siegfried was a dragonslayer, in ring der Niebelungen, he killed a dragon and took a bath in his blood= he became unvulnerable, just missed a Spot on his neck, where a leaf Covered it(thats what killed him) as someone who lives at the Danube(Donau) we know the story

If I remember it right, I saw it for the first time in the video for Double Trouble/ Lumos, which premiered last year somewhere in the middle of December. Dragonbreath, interesting thought, you might be on to something here.

Its realy funny that you said "feuerschwanz make feuerschwanz things" and you will never be upsad when they keep sounds like this. They made COMPLETLY different music not so long ago. Much less metal and much more folk elements, but with very "controversal" lyrics.
Even though this is a good song, I like "Berzerkermode" and "Bastard von Asgard" better! Nice that they showed the leaf on his back while bathing in blood. That is the place where Siegfried remained vulnerable because no dragon blood got to his skin there. For those who do not know the story of Siegfried and the Nibelungen saga!
