Df026 on a 2011 scenic 1.5 dci - 3rd injector that cylinder - i bought as a engine failure and it was the plug with splayed connector - all fixed in 15 mins
Had same problem with injector 3 open circuit but with misfiring during driving. I cleaned the connector without results. I reprogrammed the injector codes with the launch 129evo and it runs fine now.
Is it worth replacing the differential pressure sensor for the DPF since you were getting fluctuating pressure readings? Tail pipe soot test?? Loving the content and very educational. Thanks..
I’m starting to get the new 2.0 Renault Trafic’s in now with anti pollution faults , everything is different . More difficult to get to components and the ad-blue injector is a pain now fitted upstream of the dpf.
Thanks for sharing Jimmy I had the same issue with these injector connectors,it took me ages to figur it out,i done the same thing with them few times,but it lasted a month only,so i had to put a tiny wire sleeve in there between the metal contact and the plug case(very tight fit after) No fault code since. About the DPF in this video,the patio cleaner was not an option?(like in one of your previous video) Im asking because i have the same vehichle,after the Dpf regenerate on its own,the preasure at 4-5hpa,soot at 2-3g..but after if i hold at 3000rpm or driving and accelerate the soot is rising slowly. At 3000rpm the soot always decrese or is it normal to incrase with driving? Any answare appreciated🙂 Thanks for the good job as always.🤝
As in my other videos after I post a fault soon others will now post the same acting like it's knowledge they have known for years lol. The brick acid I have ran out plus after a few uses it killed the DPF guns

When i had this issue 8 month ago,i couldnt find any information on internet,just a picture about the injector plug and an arrow pointing on it. Since i bought the van, i following your chanel to do a lot of preventing maintenance on it following your advice,make sure im not getting these issues later on. My knowledge about DPFs is zero,never had a diesel before,thats why i trying to figur it out what is the normal operation of these DPFs on this vehichle. Since your brick acid video,i questioned myself about my dpf health,because of the rising soot after a normal regeneration by the vehichle. Do i have ash build up..should i use the same acid...or is it normal to for the dpf to rise a bit of soot before is start to regerate again. These are the questions in my mind since. As i said thanks for sharing these infos with us. And thanks for your answare🙂
My Renault traffic says on the dash anti pollution system fault and check stop and start, when I plugged in my Autel scanner I got “upstream nox sensor missing message” any ideas? Sensor looks ok and the plugs look in good condition
How do you rate these vans for reliability, vs say 2.2 transit custom or dispatch/expert? Dont like the way transits seem to develop rust everywhere very quickly
The customs I see around tend not to have rust, I have a 14 reg, no rust, obviously a few marks from paint damage, I've seen a dusting of rust on chassis near o/s rear wheel arch. I've fitted wheel arch liners as it didn't have any. Mk7 rust well, I've welded my daughter's wheel arch to floor areas, and don't even mention rust on mk6 lol
Interesting, I've a 16 connect and the rear arches are beginning to bubble all around the edges. Also the front wings behind the mud flaps starting to bubble. Only 100k miles

To me those vans look like the same family of vans like renault traffic. Have you had the battery replaced ever or not? Stop start systems fault are always related to the battery aging or too low of voltage. The "check hill" sounds like the hill decent control (where if you are on a hill, the car or van will hold the brakes a couple of seconds so that you have time enough to move so that you don't go back and hit the person behind you. I think, i'm not too sure, but that could really mean anything. Could be just a ABS sensor (which it uses to know if you are on a hill or not) or something else. I could be wrong though. Start by checking if your battery is too old first.
@martymns753 yes got the misfire sorted. It was a loose connection on injector 4 reading as open circuit on the code reader. I can explain the process if needed 👍
@martymns753 Most importantly, did you tighten the connectors? I also bent down slightly the two brass pins in the injector. When reconecting the connector, it will feel much tighter. As soon as i did that it didnt show up on the code reader and hasnt misfired since. Loads of other issues tho 😂😂🤦♂️ but no misfire

Totally wrong french engines are numbered from gearbox but not the r9m! The r9m engine is a nissan engine so number 1 is at timing chain end. Come on jimmy I've told you this before.

Looks like the seller cleared the codes before it was sold to that unsuspected customer. He never did the soot test on the tail pipe

These R9M engines are numbered 1 at cam chain end and 4 at gearbox. Repair connector and loom kit available from main dealer.

Would it still be an electrical fault if the van misfires occasionally?
Mine has injector 4 open circuit but also a misfire sometimes 🤷
I have a same issue it miss fires no and again but drives fine and no smoke, did you get yours sorted
@martymns753 yes got the misfire sorted. It was a loose connection on injector 4 reading as open circuit on the code reader.
