When I was about fourteen this girl moved to our little town in the desert from Michigan for the summer. She was like how come nobody knows Bob Seger out here? Yeah night moves was a great song, Hollywood nights am I missing something? He's like the Beatles in Michigan was her reply. Which I found out was true. Long before he got the national recognition he was selling out all over the land of 1000 lakes and nearby cities in neighboring states.
Interview w/Rodney, he said he never has liked the 3rd verse of this song, but he didn't know how to fiddle with it to improve. But man, do I love this song, and Rodney is also one of the more underappreciated songsters on the planet.
