Guitar Center Sessions/Seether
On their sixth full-length album Isolate and Medicate, multi-platinum alternative rock trio Seether - Shaun Morgan [vocals, guitar], Dale Stewart [bass, backing vocals], and John Humphrey [drums] - strip their trademark melodic thrash to its core and deliver the most poignant, passionate, and powerful record of their illustrious career. With rigorous minimalism and maturity, chief songwriter Shaun Morgan - long one of rock’s most unheralded melodists, has become a composer of deep emotion and clear-eyed vulnerability. The band too has developed into one of rock’s most fearsome units, playing with precision, grit and authority, yet still light on their feet. I'd get in and ask my then 3 year old, ""what do you want to hear"" she'd say ""Seeter"" (that's what shed call it,lol) I'd say ""good choice"" I'd slide it in, she'd say ""TURN IT UP"" Even though my Sub already had her vibrating in her car seat🤘 Memories ✌️

I think I'd tell her that story if you haven't already that is an awesome story that's cool that's cool she grew up on Seether unless she's still growing up that's really awesome I ended up getting the deluxe one the deluxe one cold night with the interview and the DVD in it and it was really good they have other shows but I think that one's the best one but if any band can play a show acoustically and sound good without all the bells and whistles as far as recording goes they're talented

I completely understand what Shaun was saying about having an outlet that saves his life, I wrestle with those suicidal feelings all the the time and I honestly wish he knew how much he has helped me with his music.
I really miss the guitar center sessions some of the best interviews!

I don't know why he knocks his voice....I love it! He can go soft and beautiful like "The Gift" to screaming in Vaseline and Fur Cue...doesn't like sound like anyone else IMHO. This band is def. underappreciated!

So glad I know now some 10 years later where " The Gift" came from. It's absolutely one of my favorite songs in general, not just from Seether. Makes total sense now that it would be inspired by his daughter. Awesome video here. Seether unplugged is definitely in my top 3 as well, btw. I bought that gift set cd years ago and completely wore it out. Love Shaun and the band!

They opened up for nickelback in their feed the machine tour in Manchester! When I booked the tickets and saw seether, that was just fucking amazing! 2 of my favourite bands in 1 night!

Can't wait to finally see these guys in September. One of the best bands around.....they're real and write from the heart. I think today alot of bands don't do that. Of course this is my opinion but i think most would agree.

Yeah man me also its a beautiful jam session for them and us. They are all so talented! Man the guitars are amazing and the drummer just rips it up. Also Guitar Sessions was great. I could and I do sometimes is just crank up Seether all day long no shit!!!!!

That's what does it for me with a band.sure it's the song,but if the main singer isn't an exceptional singer I'm generally not going to like the band.and shaun Morgan,in my opinion is an exceptional singer.anc his rythem is excellent as well.
I never knew shaun isn't good at reading music! The rhythm guitarist from nickelback named Ryan can't read tab! I'm glad I'm not the only guitarist who struggles with this
Ever since I first started watching this performance wayyy back in 2012 on the Audience Channel on Direct TV, I always thought that part @22:04 was absolutely insane because he's moving so damn fast that it literally doesn't even look real, Like if I'm being dead honest, It seriously looks like that part is sped up footage oh him strumming tbh 😂😂💀💀 I know it's not but it's still just absolutely hilarious seeing him actually being able to strum THAT damn fast somehow tbh 😂
