I could watch a 6 hour documentary on korn and still not be satisfied. Such an interesting band that is always evolving
Word
True bro Dave
Same ... Nothing compares
@PAbcentral indeed, Ray suks balls ..
i agree . i feel this way about hundreds of bands but korn is for sure in the top . luckily korn has hella footage as opposed a band like hed (p.e.)
If humanity is around 300 years from now Korn will still be cool
yeah forever....great words
They just need a proper drummer like they used to have ..
@@diogopinto9462 what do you mean, ray is awesome
Lets go bowling cousin
True dat :)
Korn never ages.
Well... Maybe a little.
I owe my childhood to KoRn.
I know this is a story all koRn fans will enjoy when Head left the band and his solo album save me from myself released, he had an autograph signing in Tempe, Az. It was maybe like 2005-2006 and i went to it, To see him in person all i could tell him when he was battling his drug problem was and mind you i was maybe 13-14 years old at the time i said "The choices you made may have not been the best but think about all of the people you have listening to your music and how many fans and people who love you think about more than you are just music famous they think about you as a person and love and care about you" i told him how old i was and he came up hugged me thanked me for my kind words and he took a picture with me and signed my CD. I cant thank this band enough for creating a sound that influenced my guitar techniques and Head and the band are now better people.
Random dude well you see, these are people of the land. You know... Morons.
MYSEGAISBROKEN I know he’s a Christian now, I don’t know about the rest of the band. He really came around and realized his horrible situation, and found a way out.
Hater....they couldn't put them thoughts into words and tell their insperation that. Tell someone i look up to something good...im not gonna look like "that guy"...so it's "gay"
Hi u guys in here...anyone of you please tell me why some people calls korn or any of nu metal band ' is gay ??? I dont know bout that personally..
@@pistolpete7649 ??
Impressionable kids please
This band saved many kids I knew , they needed a voice they needed loud and Korn did it in a way we could relate too!!
Music helps !!!
I used to be scared of these guys. For a REALLY long time, I refused to listen to them and swore up and down I'd never be a fan. Now, before y'all go bashing me, I grew up with a specific musical background and lived with a negative image of metal. This is why I've spent, literally, my entire life up until after high school not listening to metal. Fast-forward to today: I've got their stuff in my iPhone, got a CD, want more, I blast them at work because I work the early morning crew, and they SAVED MY LIFE. Talk about a turn-around, eh? KoRn saved my life and are saving it every day. I can't get through my day without their music fueling me so I have the will to complete my duties both to my job and to myself. If it weren't for them, I'd never have touched my guitar, ever again.
loodiamexican I was the exact same way. was told metal was bad and you shouldn't listen to it, and then found korn. and then after that I was all about metal but still have to listen to korn to get me going when I need it.
Cool man but I don't really care tbh
@@L1amZR tbh nobody cares that you don't care.
I share the sentiment! so much time wasted, listening to garbage without knowing that my therapy for all those shitty moments in my life was found in the music and lyrics of koRn. It's never too late 🤘🏼
@@jerkfacefuckasaurusrex328 I care about all you guys, I love you. I love all my fellow KoRn fans but how we got into the band isn't important what is important though is our shared love for this band!!
So many bands was trying to sound like Korn but no one have that "groove". I love it.
Damn this shit legendary
What a great interviewer.
i agree.. his words were gracious..digging deep without getting offensive..
Yeah this guy is good and Korn for me are the greatest heavy metal band that has ever been I love all there albums with untouchables being number 1
I love how this interviewer actually knows the history of nu metal music and understands that KoRn pioneered that genre!
Korn stands the test of time because each member is so authentic, relatable, grounded, NO ego and are ever motivated by their craft..love these guys.
I saw these guys when I was 13 in 1996 in Birmingham Alabama at a small venue called the 5 points music hall that had about 2-300 ppl there max right when life is peachy came out. Raw and pure energy live esp back then. Changed my life
sounds fantastic man!
Agreed man - I saw them on Life is Peachy tour and before that album at a similar place you mention called "The Abyss" in Va Beach - only concerts i've been to where it just seemed the whole building was going apeshit.
I saw them in 2021 and 2022 and can confirm that they are still putting on amazing shows these days! I will see them again too whenever they come back to Northeast, Ohio!
The guys just signed up for a gig at this guitar store and ended up in therapy. Great interview.

I liked Korn back in the early 00's. Now that I'm older can I can certainly say they had a really unique sound.
I've been a huge Korn fan for 14 years and I like their old stuff and their new stuff.
Awesome! I love this band and I love these guys! It can't be said enough how cathartic their music is and has been for me for many years.

I strive to pick up on all the tasteful things Ray does. One example around 1:27. I also enjoy his work with KXM. Seems he is unleashed ... huge smile at 0:47 followed by his brilliance. Thank you, Ray!
Chris F finally someone who doesn’t bash ray for playing a little extra. I love it!
This program really shows how far they have come as musicians there live sound is dead on i think after all this time they now have found all of their true talent working together to create greatness they have stood the test of time to still be on top of their game
Can’t believe it’s 10 year already
best session at guitar center ever!! i´m getting older but korn doesn´t, gracias!
Their music has a certain lasting appeal that is just crazy, even back in the 90s I think most kids realized that...They were way ahead of their time and created a new genre of music called Nu Metal.
The intro riff in did my time is fucking awesome
These songs will never get old . headbangers forever. Korn is my fav band growing up in my teens.
best band ever!!!
Damn straight!!!
One of the best bands of the '90s. Metal, Rap, Rock. All good. Listen to their first three albums and tell me otherwise. Much love from the mountains of Colorado!
Korn is by far my favorite band, but contrary to popular opinion, Life is Peachy is my least favorite album overall. I love that music hits everyone a little differently. :)
Oh man LIP is Korn’s most authentic album. Feels like pent up emotions unfolding
Such an awesome band to come back from all that addiction stuff. I am just now finding a new appreciation for Korn. Love these guys
Highland high school out of Bakersfield California. My cousin went to the Battle of the bands. After he hung out with them. Gave them a cassette Korn. Still have it. I was a fan from then on.
damn!! tight and heavy
Wow, how have I not seen this? Great interview, interviewer, and performances from Korn!
Wow.... wonderful
This video is awesome - love the live performances and the interview - Korn is my favorite band of all time!
This is some awesome sh*t here for sure... 7 years ago, wow... these guys are smart a hell to... absolutely love it...to play a 7 string like they do...holy shit man
Check out Meshuggahs early albums up to Chaosphere, all played on 7 strings tuned A#
@@t3hgir different type of music though.
Love these guys
Great interview . . great insight into the band . . long time kOrn fan here . .
Ive been a fan since thre beginning, and I will never stop being touched by the music, it is like no one else. I am so glad these guys got sober and kept this band together and kept this music alive
Wish Feildy would of been part of this interview. He's huge part of thier sound.
would have
Fieldy hates doing interviews.
Always get me through tough times.
Thanks to whom ever posted this video
i was at the rebellion i met the guys and heads daughter i was in tears cause korn not right without Head Munky needs his buddy to bounce off of that was Carolina Rebellion 2012
Awesome!!!
I love this band!!
Love this interview, interesting.
Amazing interview!
This guys are very calm but when they are on the stages transform in wild and epic
Bad as hell son. True Korn all the way.

Wonderfull, thanks for this!, take your like!.
wow! i always luv you guys! all the creep and agony music that you provided us!
I Loooove this!!!
also, I love buying the album and having something physical there with a cool cover you can hold. hate the download generation.
me too...
+soundchain Well said Miss Soundchain, I agree. Its a top performance too, raw! X
+soundchain Amen to that. It used to be a great thing getting the album on cd or w\e and hear the songs in the order they were meant to be heard while going thru the artwork in and on the cd / album case and go on a journey through the music with the band.
I'm the download generation but I collect CDs. So what?
I love koRn i love Ray Luzier!!! 🔥🔥🔥♥️🤘
Damn i almost forgot about "Did My Time" - Kick ass song!
Unusual to see JD wore a white shirt during LP .. Cool
💜
I skipped a lot of performances because I saw this stuff a million times in high school, but the interviews were fascinating.
children of the Korn yeaahhh!!!
When he said they basically ripped off cypress hill it all made sense to me. Their songs sound so much alike! That’s pretty neat.
Munky is such a beast. "I didn't have ear plugs in."
God bless your Brian Welch in Jesus Name amen I love you Brian Welch my godly love baby miracle blessings thank you Jesus
Os caras falarem quase que de primeira a influência do Sepultura no som deles, é um absurdo motivo de orgulho pro Brasil.

Korn gives you an endorphin rush
loa amo, espero algun dia conocerlos...mi sueño...
+vk.com/kornfans bro: this was a monstrous fuckin set/guitar center session. Thanks a ton for the full upload.
Lifelong fan. This interview felt like home man. I thought the aussie guy was gonna be an ass at first. But he did good. 👍
I'm glad I got to go see these guys in Fresno, on March 1, before the lockdowns. #socialdistancing
I know it's been a few years now, but man... Not even for the music, but for their personal lives, I'm so glad that the band members found it in their hearts to forgive Brian for leaving. This is really a tale of time healing wounds. I love that they're all sober now, and still making great music. Maybe one day things will mend with David... that seems to be an ongoing personality clash though, and Ray seems like a good guy too, so it's not like I'd want him out of the band... They could just have two set players like Slipknot. :D Maybe some alternative percussion stuff. Two percussionists can really make for a huge difference in dynamics. Even if David never comes back to the band, I'd like them all to be able to hash out their differences like they did you Brian, though. It's funny... Korn's definitely my favorite band, but I'm totally all about people making peace in their lives. Strife just gnaws at the pit of my stomach. I'm glad that Brian found that same peace that I enjoy. :) Stay strong Korn, and stay happy and blessed!
PS: I've lived in Bakersfield my entire life, and I've only ever even seen any of these guys once, in passing. My brain didn't even fully comprehend it until it was too late to walk up and say "Hi. I love your band." Funny enough, I was outside of a Curves fitness at the time. My wife worked there, and they had a purse vendor outside, so I was just hanging out with them all. Then two doors down, JD, a woman (I'm assuming his wife) and (again, I'm assuming) a bodyguard come out of the salon and get in a big black truck... He noticed me staring at his truck as he drove by though, my jaw was probably on the ground, and I at least got an acknowledging wave and a smile.
I love their energy and music
I still buy records
Ahhh yes .. the pirate fieldy phase ...
The dread tugging sessions.
The urge... I hate seeing those dogs with the plastic cone around their head...Scratch that itch...
The sound quality is so amazing
The drummer is phenomenal
He is a legend and was David Lee Roth's drummer before he joined KoRn and was also the drummer for Army Of Anyone which featured the members from Stone Temple Pilots and the singer from Filter.
34:04 holy shit
prey for me 49:16
Ray sounds pretty awesome here . Thought it was David until the rolls. 😎😁
The recording and audio quality is top notch the problem is the mix. Vocals are way down. Thay being said the drums sound awesome just to up front in the mix.
Agreed. Well recorded, but a wonky mix. I bet JD's mic was picking up the instruments too much due to the proximity.
i like it. the guitars sound huge
tiriririri tiriri riiiii !!!!, tiriririri tiriri riiiii !!!! korn*****
+Dave Seven falling away from me
+Dave Seven bang bang!! bang bang!!
Munky made me laugh when Head says Doctor friends
I wonder why Love and Meth is in a different video and not here
It's very hard to find videos of the original Korn though
Reginald Arvizu is SO FUCKING GOOD
37:05 lel
Davis's expression
Bene hahahahaja
that face deserves to be a meme jajaja
The moment when you start turning into werewolf during the interview.
You mean munky?
28:39 this shit is the most wholesome thing ever
I don't get it!! How is the bridge of Freak on a Leash actually played on guitar! It's so frustrating!!
I own one of korns guitar players guitar
Can you translate this to English?
Like a signature guitar or a guitar previously exactly owned by one of them?
6:00 Davis keeps playing with his hair LOL
They all were. It is a long hair thing. I've been growing mine out for the first time in 40 years, and I do it all the time. Mine is loose though no Dreds.
I’m half way through this wondering why Ray and Fieldy are not in the interview.
Same. Wtf
.
19:34 8:40 31:41 40:45
I wanna know what’s the last song name
11:53 Still fucking badass!!!
Dat mic stand though xD
Created for him by the artist that created Alien..
"Boyting moy, boyting moy down" lol I love Korn, but when Jon sings falling away from me he makes the chorus sound weird lol.
It sounds so huge in the record tho
What's the title of this 1st song?
Wieso läuft sowas auf Pro7 Fun? Seit wann?
Just one question first before I ask I LOVE THIS BAND AND ALWAYS WILL but why Filby and the drummer is never in any interviews it's always just munky head and Jonathan they are members two just saying
The drummer is newer to the band, probably just plays what they want him to, doesn't have insight on past issues, and Fieldy is kind of a jackass, so I'm glad he doesn't do the interviews. Haha
Idk why they aren't on this one, but I've seen multiple interviews with Ray and Fieldy....and fuck off with that...Fieldy is funny as fuck and a genuine nice individual....
The last awesome mainstream rock ‘n roll band & funny cuz in the same hand they were not mainstream.
That was good stuff. Would like to have seen them play some older stuff--which prob would make the band cringe to hear. But that's just me. Love the 2nd album particularly.
