That tool may seem expensive but it made the job a lot easier, plus it's probably the same price of just an hours labour at a JLR dealer these days so it's already paid for itself.👍
Ya - tell me about it. Spent almost 2 hours trying to get it out with 3 people last weekend. Banging, torch - pickle fork. What ended up happening is that the metal sleeve the joint sits in, that is pressed into the knuckle, separated from the knuckle. So we banged that out of the knuckle (with the ball joint still in there) - took the whole thing to a vice and heated the shit out of it and whacked it and it finally came out. Then, we had to press that metal sleeve back into the knuckle. It was a nightmare! I abandoned the other side until that press/tool arrives. FFS!
Older video I know Raymie, found you channel last night. Seems like I live not too far from you. Can you tell me where you get access to the workshop manual for the torque specs? Just did a deal on an SDV8 sport today so looking to get ahead of the curve in preperation to get stuck in to some maintenance in the future. Cheers!
Hi, I was just wondering what the actual name of the small trolley that you use for refitting the wheels is called so I can look to purchase one? I am assuming it is something like a 'wheel dolly'? I like the look of the one that you have. 👍

Basically clunking from suspension when going over bumps or rough road and when it was in garage for something else garage said they were worn and needed replaced

@@RaymiesGarage how did you diagnose it was that particular arm and not the one further forward? Did you find there was excess movement in the bushes?

I have done it b4 spray it p b blast or wD 40 a night b4 and just tap it with a hammer it will break loose
