Hello from a silent viewer in Sweden. A little about myself: I am a perpetual expat, vegan 4th culture kid raising basically tenth culture kids in Sweden. I lived in Germany when I started following you. It's early morning. I am eating spicy fava beans for breakfast. I love watching your videos, and I love Korean food. As a person without a specific cultural identity I tend to look for the cosy things I miss in different foods. So, I eat spicy beans for breakfast, they just happen to be fava beans which is not what I grew up with. I think the food I grew up on and Korean food share lots of cosy/spicy/soulfilling similarities, so thank you for inspiring me and always helping me to feel more at home in this big sphere. I know that if I go to a Korean restaurant and assure them that I am not a real European they give me the good stuff, the sweaty mustache stuff. You broadened my horizons. :)

i think its isnt having differences that are a turn off for me but its when the other person doesnt make me feel heard or understood or even if they dont understand they wont try to. but when someone trusts you and believes in you, creates a space for you to be yourself and feel like you can be who you are within the relationship and also honor you as an individual outside of the relationship too, just as a human being its so much more fulfilling when it's like this. and thats why i think you feel that way towards hanki even tho you say theres not much that is similar between you both but when there is an understanding and just a general safeness with that person, no judgements, no assumptions, no over thinking. theres just good communication and understanding.
