i just gotta say Noble got robbed… just bc her style is trending right now does not mean her fit is basic. personally, the way she picks a color palette and coordinates items using that color palette, so so tasteful. it’s casual, but the colors elevate it, giving it a bratz/winx typa look. she knows how to style clothes… fashion is supposed to be unique but there’s a point where you just can’t throw things together like Imogen (no hate to her just using her as an example). It’s too niche and not everyone will get it, so Noble deserved to be higher
I honestly don't understand how ppl call it basic..maybe its just because I live in the UK but never in my life have I seen anyone dress like that. I thought her oufits were super cute n i totally agree, I thought she'd be 1st
yeah but ig the judges has their own reason. you can see the pattern, the one ranked from 1st place - 4th place referenced to a certain era or time. nostalgia played a huge part.
i agree but the only thing i disliked was her night time outfit and how it’s almost the same exact pieces just a different colour palette.
I put her first immediately in my head, since her outfit just felt so coordinated and cohesive I LOVED IT. I felt like other people were doing a bit too much at the same time

It's interesting that they put Noble in a lower spot because of her style being "trendy", but they put Caine as number 2 when the "emo" style for guys has been trending in past years if not recently.
Yeah i mean but the "emo" style has been a classic look for a very long time, while nobles style has only been trendy in very recent times. Which is why caines was seen as more "fashionable" ig. you also have to take fashion critics with a grain of salt, because how they rate fashion is alot more complex then what looks the best, even if our gut instinct as humans is to go for that.
Trendy in fashion isn't the same as a Trend in fashion. Emo Fashion is a trend because it's lasted for 20+ years at this point. While I loved Noble's look, her look has most likely changed in since this video has been released, and possibly several times already.
Clearly you know nothing about fashion. That’s not “emo”. Plus no way her outfit is gonna beat brands like “Ed Hardy”.
I also think it's harder to be trendy tbh. Maybe its just me but being trendy and pulling it off that well isn't easy.

Yea, i dont even mind the shoes that much, but the pants are so ugly. It is a shame, since the sweater was actually nice. The shoes were bad, but the pants were the worst. If he wore just straight black wool trousers and some white (more bulky) sneakers, it would be so much better.

I would've ranked Noble way higher, if not the highest. Her outfits were interesting, aesthetically pleasing, had great color cohesion, and fit her really well.

I see a lot of people confused by the rankings. I would say the judges ranking (which I 100% agree with) is largely based off of who's style is the most curated. The last girl, while her outfit was very cute, you could walk into any H&M, F21, Zara, and replicate it fairly easily. The first guy's outfit was carefully curated. The cut and design of the jacket, the tie scarf, the jewelry, were more carefully chosen and put together; you can't walk into a store and create his exact look. The looks towards the top were also more timeless. The first and second and third's outfit could work in 1990, 2020, and probably in another 30 years, too.

for sure and fashion wasnt really a thing for boys/men. Way more conservative thinking and restrictions + on top of that lack of exposure to cloting/trend information

I think this episode lacked clarification in the editing. I had no idea when they were ranking daytime vs nighttime and it felt rushed compared to other episodes. Loved seeing each outfit.

Wow, I loved how the judges spoke to the participants. They gave compliments and criticism, but kept it very appropriate knowing it's just for fun and these are children. They made each person feel special without having to compare them.

I think for these episodes, each teen should rank everyone else based on just their opinion, then everyone ranks themselves as they do in the video. I think everyone has their ranking kind of in their head, but they don't want to say anything as to not be against popular opinion

Nobel, Bryant and Caine had the best fits, Nobel had a lot more accessories that went together well detail wise. Bryant did well with color scheme and had a bold piece for jeans that most would chuckle or stray away from. But he made it fit well. Caine as far as theme for gen z vibe ‘angsty’ teen vibe it fitted well especially with his cool emo boy vibe.

Holy cow, all their fashion choices were so cohesive! They all had a distinct style that brought out their personalities! I’m actually so impressed! (Especially since I’m 14 and I don’t even dress as well as that at all) safe to say I might be taking inspiration from a few of these girls because they did such an amazing job! (I mean all of them dressed amazingly but the girls dressed in the type of fashion style I prefer more)

There should have definitely been a criteria list of what the judges were looking for so that the ratings weren't so arbitrary I could tell many people were confused at the end. Also I would have loved to see the judges independent ratings.
I absolutely loved everyone's looks! I think that with this level of exposure to different aesthetics, fashion movements and everything that can give inspiration everyone is capable of fashion experiments that can create an interesting thing that, in it's turn, can inspire others. If it's not something trendy and obvious to the point of even tastelessness, it's hard to rate.
Noble shouldn't of gotten so low like she had one of the best outfits the colors were just perfect and the overall is just amazing

I’m so glad they weren’t mean to the kids and genuinely appreciated each of their styles. People forget how much how we dress represents us and tearing down people over their clothing can hit harder than we think. I loved all the styles and agreed with the judges final ranking.
Fashion and style is so interesting to me as it is just SO subjective, everyone has such different opinions on it and I find it fascinating. As someone who is super into fashion, I really don't agree with most of the judges ranking!! They all have amazing aspects of their outfits but they also all have room to row and develop both as themselves and in their styles. I'm just happy more and more people are becoming interested in fashion and style because it's such a fun way to express yourself.

I personally feel, This ranking was completely awry and an injustice.. Alyssa’s style was definitely too simple and that’s what made it look awesome, she didn’t really deserve to be at the last and Noble should’ve been in the top 2 for sure!

I HATE the judges ranking, it was all based off marketability instead of actual nuance and potential. And it was really strange how they never let the teens explain their style choices
I like how the judges based their rankings more on how much effort was put on the styles rather than how popular the styles are
