For everyone not understanding majority of these sneakers go for around $200-$250 retail where as these prices are the resell value after the shoe has released. In some instances these shoes are investments as they go up in price but as a sneaker head myself with over 30 pairs of shoes I will agree that some people pay a ridiculous amount for shoes. Majority of my shoes I get for retail cause I refuse to pay resell lmao unless it's a grail.
If it exists, humans will assign it value and create a community around it, whether it's rocks, clothes, trinkets, ect. Such is the human experience. let's all fund our passions.
