A finger food Christmas Eve meal was assorted finger foods, wast we call heavy appetizers. We used ethnic foods we liked, Sausage balls, guacamole, sushi, meat balls, homemade pimento cheese sandwiches, deviled eggs, scallops wrapped in bacon, etc. it was great fun.
Planning a cocktail party soon and I don't want to go the easy but boring route of buying premade finger foods. So glad I stumbled upon your channel! All your food looks so elegant yet so straight forward to prepare and your tone and delivery makes it feel like I'm sitting in the kitchen listening to my warm aunt. Keep up the fantastic work!
I just discovered your UA-cam channel. I am excited since I have been hoping to improve my plating and tapas ideas. Very informative! I'll be visiting this channel weekly.
Yay, glad you have found a use for them. They look brilliant with any small appetizer that's a bit too wet to go straight on a platter. Even petite salads are great on them ☺️
I've only just discovered your channel. Amazing work,I love it. I'd love to know the titles of the cookbooks that were on your table at the beginning of this video ,thankyou ❤
Thanks for your comment. Haha the recipe book on top is: A treasury of New Zealand baking edited by Lorraine Jacobs. I think the other 2 are: I love chocolate I love Thermomix by Jane Turner and Planet cake by Paris Cutler ☺️
Hello I need to prepare such finger food items in my office for my clients what could be my options that can be stored in the office and served quickly and looks presentable and taste great.
I'd go for sandwiches, have you seen my video on cocktail sandwiches? Or fruit sticks/kebabs. If you have a fridge available there are probably a few more options 😉
Hi 😊 thank you for your videos. They are helping me to plan my daughter’s birthday party 🥳 can I make the wrap the night before? Her party is going to be in a park, can I just take them in a grazing box? It is going to be on May, so it is not a very warm month here in Australia Thank you so much Xoxo
Thanks for your comment, so happy to hear the video's are helpful to you. Wraps really are best made fresh, but if your filling isn't too wet they will be ok the next day. Keep them airtight in the fridge over night. Yes, they will be fine in a grazing box ☺️
I *don't* love salmon - any kind of fish makes me violently ill. My mother made all the food for my wedding reception, for around 100 people. I said I wanted "party food" - finger foods, canapes, tea sandwiches, etc. She used to make tiny choux paste cream puffs stuffed with crabmeat salad. And she cut the tops off of cherry tomatoes and put tiny little shrimps into each of the pockets inside, as part of the crudites platter. And tea sandwiches using white and whole wheat bread. Pinwheel sandwiches, rolled up with augmented cream cheese. Walnut bread. Tiny sandwiches of sliced turkey or ham. We had the reception in the backyard, and rented a marquee for the buffet table. Everybody enjoyed it. And I had turkey sandwiches to eat before I started drinking :-) She hired neighborhood teenage girls to dress in their recently-new prom dresses to wander through the crowd with trays of munchies. Everybody said it was more fun than most catered weddings. She also baked and decorated the wedding cake, of course.
I think I missed this part and tried to replay to check but couldn't find it. How did you present the mini tacos? Was that on the upside down muffin tray?
There's a separate video on making mini taco's. I served them on a round plate in a circle. They're baked on the upside down muffin tin. Hope that helps 😊
Why are you so nice? Dietary requirements 🙄 they don't like it, Macdonald's is always opened or they can try Wimpy 😊 my girlfriend doesn't eat regular bread 🍞, regular pasta, no alcohol, she doesn't like meat 🍖, basically everything I've learnt in food business, maybe only 20% she could eat. Big disappointment for me a French baker.
Woaw! So happy i found this channel!
