A funky themed build today. We hope you like it. Let us know what you think in the comments. Next week we have a video with some tips hoping they will help you create some amazing castles. Hope to see you then! For those wondering what secret things we put in the castle related to chess scroll down this comment a bit more. - The opening position on the big chess board is named the Kings Gambit. Where the castle got its name from - The castle itself is shaped as a rook piece, which is visible from the sky. - The foundation of the castle itself is 8x8 big. The same size as a chessboard. - Statues of kings and queens throughout the castle are put on floor colors representing their starting position. White queens on white. Black queens on black. White kings on black and black kings on white floors. - The character giving you the tour is a white queen. - There are 8 servants in the castle. 4 are white nuns and 4 are black nuns. - The stables have 2 white horses and 2 black horses. Hope you enjoy these small easter eggs.
That is an amazing concept, it might actually be my favorite castle made by you so far! One of my hangups with some ideas I come up with is that some objects in the castle are locked into the traditional red vampire color schemes, so they clash with what I'm trying to make. But this black-and-white scheme works really well, the vampiric red things pop in an elegant way, like blood spilled on white drapery.
