Look at the pretty area in the mountains with the trees, how great a place you get to live and it is nice to see. We BBQ here in March through to December this is a desert so that one thing we do a lot of. Nice material rack a tall one wow. Nice production job in a poly material nice run. Don't worry about the messy shop. I have been in a lot of messy shops that make good parts. In fact I think a lot of small shops are always in a state of disarray. I know mine is. I'm a one man shop and I always have multiple protects scattered all over the shop.
I would consider having the axle big end upset forged, and if alignment is an issue have a larger end friction welded on that is quit a bit of debarking adds a lot of time and material cost. Play Safe From Elliot Lake Ontario Canada.

its a mashine dealer very close to me.he said 2 pieces are in perfect working condition.1 newer model and 1 old model like your.the other 3 pieces has some isues.i wanna buy two same lathes and im wondering witch one,newer or older like your.idk best wishes i will be happy to help you

I also thought of forging. But i think in these production numbers it is more cost efficient to just get the larger stock.
