Awesome work Sunppaa. I'm in the middle of making six hydraulic cylinders and pistons for the feed clutches in an obsolete Kearney and Trecker milling machine. Six identical parts is a large order for me. After watching this video my order seems rather limp by comparison. It must have been warm out that day running with the shop door open in winter. Here it`s about -20C with a 60 km per hour wind that feels like it`s going to cut a guy in half. Thanks, Ken
Great job, I respect people who love their job! After drilling, try to use a cermet at a very high speed and in a single pass. We after a drill 30 and 24 cut in one pass 32 and 25,5 (tolerance +0,062).
Nice organization of the work my friend ! You just need the mill vise to be hydeaulic foot controlled, and you have also 36 seconds to rest between each run ;)
HI ,i like your videos. Thank you very much.. could you pls do a video showing how to set up and operate CNC..a detailed video will be great if you can.. its my dream job but i cant find any one to show me step by step.. your help will be much appreciated
It's actually a lot of fun when you control the whole process from the drawing to the finished piece! I usually spend my days thinking and pondering and planning, so that also makes it fun to do some brain-free work for a change :-).
I have to agree with you. I have worked in such shops and it is very mind numbing to run CNC all day long. I do use CNC machine,s in my own workshop but gladly only for mostly short runs. I could not think of anything worse than being a machine attendant. If you like pressing panels at the Ford factory then this is a good job for you. The other thing about CNC machined parts is the more you make the less money you make ????
What's the deal with those mill vices? Do they have chip covers and some sort of torque preload mechanism on the input? I've never seen a vise like that before
They are 2 speed power vises. Very strong grip but absolutely no feel for weaker parts.. Chip covers yes, but I dont like them too much because chips get past them anyways and then you cannot get them out...
To say the Dainichi lathe is very old it's still getting the job done very well. Have you considered probably cleaning out its computer enclosures anyway dust and filt it's accumulated over time? Theoretically the heat if airflow is choked wouldn't do its CPU any good, just like in a home PC, that's my thoughts. Great video though 👍
U-drills do not like pre-drilled holes. If I drilled thru all the pieces with the small drill at once, only the outer insert on the bigger drill would cut and it would chatter like crazy.
waw, only one man work in the factory, very good :)
Just awesome being busy.. i can only hope to get all machines in the shop running.. only had that a few times :)
Brilliant.... poetry in motion.👍 Deb will contact you Monday when she gets home.
Way cool! Congrats on getting this far, it was a huge leap, and here's to what can be achieved in the new year. :)
Thanks!! Always interesting to see how things develop...
Great! And so on work all day. Cheers!
Обалденно, класс!!
Great to see you back man!
I like how turret jumping when change the tools 😁
Yeah! Not the smoothest tool change around..!
I used to do that.. absolutely hated it - the noise, the smell. Never again.
Damm you had a bad experience
I'm in it, too. Too much stress in machine shops. Unless you are the programmer, machining sucks.
I have a love and hate thing at my job lol but that’s how it is so 🤷🏻♂️
Nice to se your shop again.

Ну наконец, сколько можно ждать👍
awesome, man. and cool!, thanks!!

Guillaume Van Der Meulen or put the machines in 5% lol

Hola te felicito loco tenes todo automatizado no tene problema con el empleado y por lo que se ve buen control de calidad saludos desde pay /ur
Nice production! Glad I don't normally get into such work.

sunppaa I agree when someone does it for you it’s no fun it’s better to control the process

pleased for you
Did you bridge all the safety switches? Lol
I bet so.
Do you operate these machines? Alone ? And all together ? And everyday ? 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸 Very efficient then
Cool!
No onpahan tirehtöörillä juoksemista ;) Hyvvä jatkoa toivotaan täältä ruotsin puolelta.
Hard work always pay later but when pays its will out of the world
How much is this workpiece.possible l make cheaper!
so dialed in, he can even use the bore gauge one handed! 8)
That was tricky!
Красиво👍
Amazing...watched it fully. I would recommend gloves, there is a lot of cutting fluid you touch with your bare hands.

Factorio RL
interesting but for a one man band you have too much walking to do between machines.😦
Yes, the layout is not optimal!
3 microns tolerance...
the horror of mas production
It's fun! Time goes by so fast! However, I very rarely run production myself these days.
It's fucking perfect and boring, enjoy man
Устал небось, замаялся. Это ж не уголь в шахте рубить, не учить детей в школе или в неотложке по городу гонять.
Really me sorry. 😉😣
