My cordless impact drill did not cut it but I hammered the bolts a bit, then applied heat with a propane torch for about 20-30 seconds and then used a proper hex bit socket with a 25" breaker bar, hammerred that in a bit to make sure it was bottom seated and was able to free all the bolts. They were quite snug and had yellow loctite type material on them but they came loose! Thanks for the heating advice!

thanks a lot, I didn't know blue loctite was that strong... impact screwdrive + blue torch= success. powerful impact+stuck bolt with blue loctite= rounding up hex bolts

Heating the bolt helps soften the thread lock and create a touch of expansion. You can also heat and cool then heat again and that will help. Just remember to thread lock when you put them back in, but only a tiny drop

I would have destroyed my system and been in a hurt locker as I have no car or the real expensive cash at a dealer
Question are all bolts regular thread? What is torque spec same as XSR 900 I’m sure as basically same bike thanks very very much!!

MAN!!! I broke THE LAST ONE off after prepping the damn nut before even trying (EVEN TAPPED IT B4 TRYING TO BREAK IT LOOSE).... "THEN" HAD THE EASY OUT break off inside the BOLT TOO, always the LAST DAMN BOLT.

How much heat should one apply, given many motorcycle wheels are cast alloy. I bent my rotors when changing my own tires (FZ09) when the wheel fell off the stand during the tire removal. So i need to replace both rotors. I have new discs and bolts, i'm just cautious on how much heat i should be using. i don't want to damage the wheel.

ive heated one minute (30 seconds on both sides) and it was enough, I don't think it warp the aluminum wheel(motocross wheel). My bolts where fucking stuck on place, ive rounded one bolt and it was youtube learning time.
