While I plan on doing some different colors for mine, this video was definitely helpful. I'll have to watch it again when I get my paints.

Are you going to be painting the rest of wave 1? These videos are so useful

@@jamesdrake2056 yes I will be working though all the figures. Work and life has delayed me a bit, and I've been busy working on a special tutorial for the upcoming Heroscape presentation in October. What figure would you like a tutorial on next?

Amazing, I'm still catching up with you but particularly looking forward to painting Raelin and Ewashia

These bears look absolutely amazing! Great job!! I really can’t wait to see how you do with Adelbern and the Ordo Borealis now haha.

Thanks, they were fun to figure out. For all the different bears, I plan on trying to find some specifics and different techniques to talk about for each one

What is the stick thing you have the base if the figure atrached to? And how did you attach it?
I'm also going to be getting into painting miniatures for the first time due to the cheaper price point for Heroscape. I plan on watching a LOT of your videos to learn!

@@b321gonzo I'm using a cut PVC pipe with a cap. I use gorilla sticky tack to hold the figures onto it so I don't touch the wet paint.
Glad you're starting your painting journey, scape figures are a blast to try out

Loved the bear puns! Overall a wonderful video as usual, can't wait to see what you are painting next! Also I want to say B is lighter, but I fear it is both are the same.

I actually had to use restraint to not put more puns in.
Also, They're both the same color, an example of how "Our perception of an area's lightness is influenced by the part of the surroundings to which the area appears to belong", which is why polar bears appear lighter than they actually are.

What painting set or brand would you recommend for a beginner in miniature painting?

I think the Army Painter fanatic line is a great entry for new comers, lots of colors, great coverage, and pretty good price. for what you get, they also have a couple of bundled sets which will really cover your needs based on your available funds . Their mega paint set wias designed to be a catchall for their paint, and essentially covers any colors you'd need.
The vallejo line is a great entry point as well, it's a pretty good "all around" starting paint brand, which has consistent and good quality mini paint.
If you're just starting, you can also use cheap craft paint from the store, as well, but that paint isn't fully designed with mini painting in mind, and you just have to be a bit more aware of the thickness and flow of it, but its still a good point to start off with as well.
Might have to make a future video about this!

@@RogueScaper Perfect! Thanks for your response. That video would be great and could include what supplies and tools you'd recommend to go with the paint.
